✨ Annual Awards Night 2026 ✨
On the 16th of May, our Glenelg family came together to celebrate another incredible year at our Annual Awards Night. It was a night filled with recognition, laughter, and pride as we celebrated the people who make our club so special. 💚💛
From patrol hours and training achievements to lifelong dedication and outstanding service, the night showcased the passion and commitment that keeps Glenelg thriving both on and off the beach.
Some special moments from the night included:
• An IRB being named in honour of Life Governor Brenton Quimby
• Anthony Merchant being inducted as a Life Member
• Pat Larven receiving the Remeljej Award for Glenelg’s most conscientious member - our clubs highest honour
• Daryl Burrows and Sally Bennett recognised for Most Patrol Hours
• Steve Deeble receiving the President’s Award
• Aaron Billing awarded the prestigious 3T Trophy for Glenelg’s most outstanding open member
• Hannah Deacon receiving Most Outstanding Competitor
• Pete Tidswell awarded the Glenn Tidswell Memorial Trophy for the Most Outstanding Boat Section Member
