A big thank you to everyone that came along for a play this year, help set up / pack up, read a book, helped with our goodbye song, donate toys and participate in activities.

Good luck to our friends who are starting kindy and school next year.

Holdfast Community Centre playgroup will be part of Sensory Fun in 2026, with sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Friday’s.

Tomorrow is mine (and Dougie’s) last playgroup 😢.

We started attending HCC playgroup in 2022 when Dougie was a newborn and his big brother George had all the fun. I have had so much fun doing something so different from my work. It has been lovely watching the kids have fun every week and the friendships made.

So, what will happen to HCC playgroup in 2026? I am excited that Kim (pictured below with myself), Rachel and the amazing team from Sensory Fun will take over Tuesday playgroup. Sensory Fun currently runs on Mondays and Fridays and will also include Tuesdays next year.

I hope to see families tomorrow at our end of year Christmas party; everyone is welcome. Wear your favourite Christmas outfit and bring a plate to share. Yvette ☀️🌈
