🌿💛 What a fantastic day at the Eastlakes NAIDOC Family Fun Day! 💛🌿

Our team had an incredible time attending this year’s celebration on Friday, connecting with community members, families, Elders, and local organisations in a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, share their stories, learn more about our services, and join us in celebrating this special occasion.

A big thank you to the organisers, volunteers, performers, and everyone who helped make the day such a success. We look forward to continuing these valuable connections and supporting our community throughout the year.

National NAIDOC Week 2026

This year's NAIDOC week marks 50 years of Deadly. It’s a tribute to the people who built this movement, the Elders who stood firm, the organisers who made space, the artists who turned resistance into expression, and the communities who keep showing up, year after year.

🌿 NAIDOC Week Celebration at Windale Public School 🌿

Last week, we were honoured to attend Windale Public School's NAIDOC Week celebrations and be part of such a wonderful day of learning, culture, and community.

Our team hosted a Nature Weaving Stall, it was fantastic to see so much creativity, engagement, and enthusiasm as the children created their own unique woven pieces while learning about the importance of connection to Country and cultural practices.

We'd love to encourage everyone to give nature weaving a try at home. It's free, fun, and a wonderful activity to enjoy with children while spending time outdoors and connecting with nature.

All you need is:
• Cardboard
• String or wool
• Natural materials such as leaves, grasses, flowers, bark, or small sticks
