What an amazing morning had by all today at our Mother's Day Breakfast. A big thank you to everyone who attended.
The hall and school gardens were packed with families enjoying the exquisite food, barista coffee and sweet treats.
It truly was a community event and we would just like to thank those who made it so special.
Our sponsors, Westpac Burwood and DibChidiac&Co. made it possible to cater for the event.
The Year 12 Hospitality students from Concord High School prepared a phenomenal array of cakes, biscuits and slices before joining us on the day to help with food preparation and service alongside our student leaders.
Our coffee guru and school mum Alison and her family provided seamless set up and service as parent volunteers cooked the barbecue, powered by the always generous Lock Stock & Bottle at Abbotsford.
It was all made possible by the passion our fundraising team has to create such a sense of community by bringing everyone together.
Thanks to Steeve for his fundraising leadership, Brooke for all the work in advance (also for taking amazing photos on the day), Vanessa for leading the raffle and the team of Heidi, Jo and Dakota for their support for the whole event.
This awesome group of volunteers pulled it all together, from attracting sponsorships and spending countless hours setting the menu to buying fresh food, catering supplies and sourcing prizes for our raffle.
Thanks also to our volunteers who were up early to make the day a great success: Vicki, Diana, Christie, Rob, Adam, Nick, Randall, Bradley, Megan and their families.
Thank you too goes to the school staff who helped set up everything on Wednesday after school and again supported the P&C very early on Thursday morning. The award for avocado preparation efficiency goes to Ms Noble.
It is a huge achievement made worth it by so many excited guests who could have easily sat there all day chatting and sharing stories.
Have a lovely weekend celebrating the important people in our lives and remembering those who can't be with us.
