Another successful Veterans Drop‑In Space at the Concord Farmers' Market. It’s always great to see our local community out and about, enjoying the weekend and making the most of the market atmosphere. These mornings provide a wonderful opportunity to connect with locals and veterans alike, sharing stories, camaraderie, and a few great tastes from the stalls. Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat and a game of Uckers and/or Chess and showed their support for our veteran community.

The ANZAC period has been a busy and deeply meaningful time for the Five Dock RSL Sub‑Branch, with members proud to support and participate in a wide range of commemorative events across our local community. These included the Siege of Tobruk 85th Anniversary Commemorative Service at Five Dock Park, ANZAC Day services at Five Dock, Concord, Drummoyne and Breakfast Point, as well as dawn services and local memorial gatherings. Each service provided an opportunity to pause, reflect, and honour the service, courage, and sacrifice of our veterans and those who have gone before us. ANZAC Day remains a solemn reminder of the enduring legacy of service and mateship that continues through generations. The Sub‑Branch sincerely thanks our volunteers, community partners, families, and supporters who stand alongside the veteran community, not only during the ANZAC period, but also throughout the year.
