FairyMeadow SLSC Fairy Meadow Surf Life Saving Club is located in the Illawarra. This page provides information for our members and the public.

Fairy Meadow Surf Life Saving Club was founded in 1950 by a group of local residents, to safe guard the people of Fairy Meadow and the Balgownie areas, that swum at our beach. Today the club is run by locals and university students who live in the area and still promotes the same safe beach environment. We continue to promote a fun and safe environment for all of members and the general public. Be

A fun afternoon for all of the pooches and their hoomans! With plenty of holes dug, birds chased and tails wagged! 🤩

A big congratulations to our Smacho Flags champion Thomas! Proving that slow and steady does in fact win the race! 🐶👏

Paw Patrol will be returning next season and we can’t wait to see all of our pawtrollers back on the sand having a blast! 😁

A big congratulations to our April Member of the Month Chris Savage! 👏

Chris has been putting in a lot of work behind the scenes this month, consistently going above and beyond for the club. He has been working towards completing his Silver Medallion as well as progressing through the UAV Trainer Officers Course. This is helping set up our club to deliver the UAV program in house for next season! 🤩

As well as that he is often seen dropping in to help out on patrols even if he isn’t rostered and is an all round great member! Always willing to lend a hand and offer support!

Well deserved Chris! Thank you for everything you do for Fairy Meadow! 🖤💛

• Looked after and maintained the club
• Mentored our juniors
• Signed off competencies
• Helped keep our community safe
• And contributed in any way to the culture and family of Fairy Meadow SLSC

This year we celebrated so many milestones! our 75th season! the return of surf boats! members representing us at carnivals and even at national award ceremonies!
