Ellenbrook Youth Centre

The Youth Centre provides a safe space for young people aged 12 -25 years who study, work, live or socialise in Ellenbrook and surrounding areas.

This is a free service, check out our page for program and drop-in times. The Youth Centre runs drop-in for young people aged 12 to 18 years on Tuesday 3pm - 6pm, Wednesday 3pm - 6pm and Fridays 4pm to 7pm. This is a free service. The drop-in model of delivery, means young people are free to come and go as they please during the Centre’s DROP-IN opening hours. Young people can come along to hang

out with their friends and talk to qualified youth workers who can provide information, support and referrals to specialised services on a range of topics or issues they may be experiencing. The Centre offers a great range of activities including a pool table, PlayStation, Switch, ping-pong table, computers, sensory room, board games, art and craft supplies, sporting equipment and access to free WIFI. In addition to the above the Youth Centre also provides other programs and activities for young people aged 12 to 18 years, as well as for young people aged 18 to 25years. 🎨 The Stylus is Mightiest! Digital Illustration for Teens. Love drawing? Learn how to bring your characters and stories to life with digital art!

Join digital illustrator, storyteller, and game designer Jake Bamford from Dapper Cranium Studios for a fun 4-week course exploring digital illustration, character design, visual storytelling, and creative concepts. Participants will create their own digital artworks while learning essential techniques including brushes, layers, colour, shading, and texture.

Healthway supporting West Australians to connect to themselves, each other and the community through arts and culture. Ellenbrook Cultural Foundation Incorporated proudly partners with Healthway, to create a healthier, more connected Western Australian community for our children and young people.

This series of workshops is part of the Creativity and Wellbeing for Young People program, funded by Healthway and delivered in partnership with the Kids Research Institute Australia and their SEW-ART Framework, with support from Ellenbrook Youth Centre and the City of Swan.

Healthy + Respectful Relationships - parents, carers, teachers and mentors
Build your confidence to support young people to navigate relationships safely.

This workshop will help you build your understanding of the drivers of violence and
disrespect, and strengthen your confidence to model and promote healthy, respectful
relationships.
You will:
• Learn how to recognise and challenge disrespectful behaviours
• Build confidence to have conversations about boundaries and safety
• Gain practical strategies to support young people in your care

This workshop complements youth session on Tuesday 26 May at Ellenbrook Youth Centre, ensuring that the messages young people are learning are reinforced by the adults around them.

Training is presented by Zonta House Refuge Association.
