72 Thermal Haven Nest Boxes Sold & Installed in 1 Month!

Over the past month, The Tree Company has supplied or installed 72 Thermal Haven nest boxes across Victoria — supporting councils, commercial partners, and private clients in creating habitat for native fauna.

👏 A big thanks to the councils backing real biodiversity action:
Boroondara, Stonnington, and Banyule.

This month’s highlights:
• 25 boxes sold to the Big Build for installation in Boroondara Parks – helping offset habitat loss from NE Link works
• 2 Powerful Owl boxes installed for:
→ Trust for Nature at Uambi Reserve, Heathmont
→ Ventia at Puckapunyal Army Base
• Delivered a presentation to Manningham Council to support future habitat projects in their bushland reserves

We’re thrilled to be installing 47 Thermal Haven Nest Boxes at Puckapunyal Army Base in collaboration with Ventia’s land managers. As part of Ventia's habitat restoration program, these high-quality nest boxes will provide homes for a variety of native and endangered species.

These award-winning nest boxes combine sustainability with durability. Their vented, thermally insulated twin-wall construction offers essential protection against the extreme heat of central Victoria, ensuring a stable habitat for wildlife. Unlike traditional plywood boxes, Thermal Haven’s innovative design is built to last for decades.

We are very excited to have 48 Thermal Haven Nest Boxes installed at Wurneet Laang Laang where Greenfleet is creating a biodiverse habitat to support the return of native birds and other wildlife. By restoring locally native vegetation, this forest will provide habitat for wildlife and take climate action by sequestering carbon from the atmosphere.
