As we reflect on the past year, the Corey Maric Youth Support Foundation would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our community. Your unwavering support has truly wrapped around the Foundation, and without you, the work we do simply would not be possible. Every donation, shared conversation, volunteered hour, and word of encouragement has helped us continue supporting young people in meaningful and practical ways. 💛

One of our most significant milestones this year was our partnership with , now providing free counselling for local youth . Located on Queen Street in Warragul, this partnership has been a crucial step in improving access to mental health support for young people in our community.

We’re also proud to continue:
💙 Ongoing support through the , ensuring youth have access to heavily subsidised counselling.

🧠 A strong partnership with Live4Life, with Kate Maric delivering Teen Mental Health First Aid across numerous schools in the Baw Baw Shire.

♻️Our Recycle for a Cause program, raising $2,000 while promoting sustainability. Special thank you to our local cafes ( , , , who have been supporting this initiative.

🏃‍♀️Our incredible Runners for Youth team, who raised $1,500 through their commitment and passion for youth mental wellbeing.

Looking ahead to 2026, we are excited to continue growing, strengthening partnerships, and contributing even more to our community. With your continued support, we look forward to expanding our reach and creating lasting, positive change for young people.

A little reminder that our container collection initiative runs all year round- but this festive season is the PERFECT time to get involved! 🎄💛♻️

Christmas parties, BBQs, end-of-year celebrations… they all add up.
And honestly? You’d be surprised at how much you can get back just by returning your cans and bottles!

Here’s how simple it is:
1️⃣ Save your eligible containers (look for the 10c mark)
2️⃣ Drop them at your nearest CDS Vic refund point
3️⃣ Choose to donate to CMYSF
4️⃣ Feel good knowing you’re helping young people and the planet

A simple question can make a world of difference. This year’s theme, “Ask R U OK? Any Day,” reminds us that checking in with the people around us shouldn’t be a once-a-year thing.

When we take the time to ask (and really listen) we can help someone feel supported and less alone. You don’t need to have all the answers, just a willingness to start the conversation and follow it up with care.

Let’s make it a habit: not just on R U OK? Day, but any day. Because Any conversation matters. 💛

It is a reminder that every life holds value, every story matters, and every voice deserves to be heard. This year’s theme, “Help Change the Narrative,” calls on us to shift how we talk about su***de and mental health.

Instead of silence, let’s choose openness.
Instead of stigma, let’s choose compassion.
Instead of judgement, let’s choose understanding.

By changing the way we speak and listen, we can create safe spaces where people feel supported, not isolated. Together, we can break down barriers and remind one another that it’s okay to reach out, and it’s okay to ask for help. 💙💙
