🌟 Darwin Free Feeds Sunday Roundup! 🌟

Another busy Sunday at Cenotaph Carpark, where we served approximately 130 people with a range of freshly prepared meals. 💛

🍽️ On the menu this week:

🍗 Sweet & sour chicken
🥩 Sweet & sour pork
🥗 Fresh salads
🥪 120 sandwiches, including chicken and ham, cheese & egg
🍗 Chicken with vegetables
🍝 Pasta bolognese

A huge thank you to Woolworths, Domino's Pizza Millner, Friendly Pool & Spa Care for their weekly donation and Journey Early Learning Nightcliff for their generous support and contributions this week. Your help makes a real difference and allows us to keep providing meals to people in our community.

And, as always, thank you to every one of our volunteers, donors, supporters and community members who continue to give their time and energy each Sunday. From preparing and packing food to serving meals and cleaning up afterwards, every contribution matters. ❤️

What another fantastic Sunday with our Darwin Free Feeds community! 💛

This week, we served approximately 170 people at Cenotaph Carpark, with plenty of delicious food prepared and shared by our amazing volunteers.

🍽️ On the menu this week:

🍚 Sweet & sour fish, pork and chicken served with rice
🍗 Soy chicken with rice
🍝 Pasta bolognese
🥪 Around 120 freshly made sandwiches**, including:
* Fresh chicken & cheese
* Ham, cheese & egg
* Salami & cheese
🥗 Chicken salads and other fresh salads

A huge thank you to MD Fresh Produce Darwin and Woolworths for their continued generosity and food donations. Your support helps us put together these meals every week and makes a real difference. 🙌

And, as always, the biggest thank you goes to our incredible volunteers, donors and supporters. From preparing food and making sandwiches to serving meals and helping everything run smoothly, Darwin Free Feeds simply wouldn’t happen without you. ❤️

A big thank you to 2 of our regular cookers that provide 30-40 meals each week. They are leaving Darwin and so we hope that there is some kind hearted people that can cook some meals for us. If you can please contact us.

🌟 Darwin Free Feeds Sunday Roundup! 🌟

Another wonderful Sunday at Darwin Free Feeds, bringing our community together through good food, generosity, and kindness. ❤️

This Sunday, we served approximately 200 people at Cenotaph Carpark, with plenty of delicious meals and treats to share!

🍽️ This week’s menu included:

🍚 Sweet and sour basa with rice
🍖 Sweet and sour pork with rice
🥘 Beef stew with mashed pumpkin
🍝 Creamy chicken and mushroom pasta
🥪 Freshly made sandwiches
🥗 A variety of fresh salads
🍗 Delicious chicken dishes
🥒 Homemade zucchini slice
🍰 A wonderful selection of cakes, donuts and other sweet treats for dessert
💧 Bottled water

A huge thank you to the amazing businesses, organisations and individuals who supported us this week. 🙏

Darwin Free Feeds Roundup!

We apologize for not being able to share our weekly updates over the past two weeks. Despite the delay in posting, Darwin Free Feeds has continued serving meals and supporting members of our community.

On Sunday, we served approximately 150 people at Cenotaph Carpark, with plenty of delicious food to go around!

The menu included:
🍚 Sweet and sour basa and sweet and sour pork served with rice
🥘 Beef stew with mashed pumpkin
🥪 120 freshly made sandwiches
🥗 A variety of fresh salads
🍗 Delicious chicken dishes
🥒 Homemade zucchini slice
🍰 A wonderful selection of cakes, donuts, and other sweet treats for dessert

A huge thank you to the Woolworths Food Diversion Program for helping provide the cakes and donuts.

We would also love to give a special shoutout to Domino's Pizza Millner for generously donating pizzas. They were certainly a crowd favorite! 🍕🙌

A special thank you to Journey Early Learning Nightcliff for their assistance and generous supply of bottled water.

We would also like to sincerely thank MD Fresh Produce Darwin, Friendly Pool & Spa Care for their generous support and food donations.

Most importantly, thank you to every volunteer, donor, business, and community member who has supported Darwin Free Feeds over the past two weeks and continues to support us every week. Darwin Free Feeds Roundup!

Thank you once again to our incredible volunteers who make Darwin Free Feeds possible. Your ongoing commitment and generosity are what make these community meals happen every week!

Apologies for the delay on our post this week. Last Sunday, we served around 150 people down on the Esplanade. The menu included beef stew, sweet and sour basa fillets, chicken in a tomato pasta sauce, a wide assortment of fresh salads, pasta bolognese, and more than 100 assorted sandwiches with fresh roast chicken, salami, and philadelphia cream cheese. We also had plenty of pieces of fresh cut watermelon and cantelope. Thank you also to Journey Early Learning Nightcliff for your help and supplying bottled water.

We would also like to sincerely thank MD Fresh Produce Darwin, Donation from Friendly Pool & Spa Care, and Woolworths Leanyer for their generous support and food donations.

🥘FREE FEEDS ROUNDUP🥘

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers who donate their time and delicious meals each week! We served well over 150 people last weekend.

This weekend’s spread included sweet and sour fish with rice, sweet and sour pork with rice, beef stew with mashed potato, chicken and mushroom pasta, 140 sandwiches, assorted salads, copious amounts of watermelon, chicken kievs with rice, carbonara pasta, and pie with vegetables. Thank you once again Journey Early Learning Nightcliff for supplying bottled water, and MD Fresh Produce Darwin for their donations of produce. We also handed out blankets and yoga mats, and had a live music performance!

Darwin Free Feeds Roundup!!!

Thank you once again to our incredible volunteers who make Darwin Free Feeds possible. Your ongoing commitment and generosity are what make these community meals happen every week!

Last Sunday, we served around 120 people down on the Esplanade. The menu included sweet and sour basa with rice, beef stew and mash, pasta bolognese, Atlantic salmon with rice, turkey in tomato sauce with pasta, assorted sandwiches, chicken pasta, and 15 pizzas from Domino's Pizza Millner. We would also like to sincerely thank MD Fresh Produce Darwin, Friendly Pool & Spa Care, and Woolworths Leanyer for their generous support and food donations. Thank you to Journey Early Learning Nightcliff for their considerable donation of drinking water.

To everyone who volunteers, donates, and supports Darwin Free Feeds, thank you. Your kindness and generosity continue to make a meaningful difference in our community.
