🚨 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED – CLYDE 🚨

We urgently need a foster home for our beautiful boy Clyde. 🥺❤️

🐶 Clyde
🌈 1 year old
🌈 Mastiff X
🌈 Male
🌈 Microchipped
🌈 Vaccinated
🌈 Wormed
🌈 Soon to be desexed

Clyde is a very loving, gentle little boy who can be quite shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, his beautiful affectionate personality starts to shine through. ❤️

He gets along really well with other dogs and would be very happy sharing his foster home with a friendly canine companion. Because Clyde is on the shyer side, we would prefer any resident dogs to be friendly and not overly dominant, so he has the chance to settle in and build his confidence at his own pace.

He also walks beautifully on the lead and is such a sweet, easy boy to have around. He really just needs somewhere safe and loving to land while he waits for his forever family.

🚨 We urgently need to find Clyde a foster home. If you can offer this gorgeous boy a safe place to stay, please reach out to us as soon as possible.

All veterinary care and ongoing support are provided by Save A Paw NT Inc. while Clyde is in foster care. 🐾❤️

📩 Please message our page if you can help Clyde, or complete our foster carer registration form:

Please share to help us find Clyde somewhere to go! 🙏🐾

🤍 2025 Intake Animals Still Waiting… 🤍

Last year, 365 animals found their perfect families through Save A Paw NT — but some of our 2025 intake animals are still patiently waiting for their turn 🐾

Many have now spent months growing up in foster care. Some arrived frightened, injured, neglected, or unwell, and have worked so hard to learn what safety and love feel like. Despite everything they’ve been through, they continue to greet the world with wagging tails, soft purrs, and hopeful hearts.

✨ Our goal is to see every animal taken into our care during 2025 who is still waiting, safely adopted into their purrrfect forever homes before the end of 2026 rolls around — pending the right match, of course ✨

Not rushed homes.
Not “just any” homes.
But homes where they’ll be loved for life 🤍

🐶 Billie — 347
🐱 Tini — 330
🐇 Piccolo — 302
🐱 Frog — 303

💔 346 Days in Care… and Billie is still waiting. 💔

Somehow, this beautiful girl has watched puppy after puppy find their forever homes while she continues to wait.

For 346 days, Billie has woken up every morning hoping today might be the day someone chooses her. Through it all, she has never stopped being the same happy, loving, tail-wagging girl who greets every day with excitement and every person with a smile.

✨ Meet Billie ✨

🎤 Female, desexed
🎂 DOB: 13/07/2025
🐾 Mixed Breed
💉 Vaccinated, Microchipped & Wormed
🩺 Heartworm Negative

Billie is the kind of dog who makes life brighter. She has a bubbly personality, a cheeky grin that melts hearts, and a playful spirit that never seems to fade. Whether she’s zooming around the yard with her doggy friends, chasing a toy, or curling up beside you for cuddles after a busy day, Billie gives everything she does her whole heart.

She absolutely loves other dogs and has thrived in foster care, learning what it means to be part of a family. She’s clever, eager to please, and already knows the basics like sitting patiently and waiting for her meals. Toilet training is coming along beautifully, and she responds wonderfully to praise and gentle guidance.

Billie is also great with children and has been around horses, making her a lovely all-round companion for an active family.

The heartbreaking part is… there’s no obvious reason why she’s still here.

She’s affectionate.
She’s fun.
She’s smart.
She’s beautiful.
She’s ready.

Yet somehow, she’s been overlooked for 346 days.

Every dog deserves a family of their own. Billie deserves to know what it’s like to have a home where she doesn’t have to wonder if she’s next. A home where she can finally unpack her little heart, knowing she’s loved forever.

Could that home be yours? ❤️

If you think Billie might be the missing piece of your family, we’d love to hear from you.

🐾 Apply to adopt Billie here:
https://www.saveapawnt.org.au/adopt/billie/

Please help us by sharing Billie’s story. The more people who see her, the better the chance that the family she’s been waiting 346 days for finally finds her. 🩷

🩵 DIRECT OWNER REHOME 🩵

✨ About Millie
• Female Domestic Short Hair
• 4.5 years old
• Vaccinated, microchipped and desexed

Millie is the kind of cat who loves deeply, but on her own terms. She enjoys having her own space and can be a little sassy at times, but underneath that independent exterior is a sweet girl who simply wants to feel safe, loved and understood.

Once you’ve earned her trust, Millie will happily curl up at the end of your bed, keep you company on the couch, and make sure you know when she’s decided it’s time for pats and affection. She loves people and forms strong bonds with her family.

Millie would be happiest in a home where she can be the centre of attention. While she isn’t a fan of sharing her space with most adult cats, she may do well with a young kitten, as she has beautiful maternal instincts and enjoys looking after little ones. She can also learn to be friends with dogs once she’s given time to settle in.

We know Millie isn’t looking for just any home—she’s looking for her home. A family that will appreciate her gentle heart, respect her boundaries, and love her for the unique girl she is.

Every cat deserves a place where they belong, and we would love nothing more than to see Millie finally find hers. ❤️

📩 If you think you could give Millie the loving forever home she deserves, please get in touch.

🌈 330 DAYS IN CARE – TINI IS STILL WAITING 🌈

Our gorgeous little tortie girl Tini has now been in care for 330 days. That is almost an entire year waiting for her forever family, and for such a beautiful, affectionate and easy-to-love little cat, we genuinely don’t know why she is still waiting. 💔

🐱 Tini
🌈 Domestic Short Hair (Tortie)
🌈 DOB: 29/03/2025
🌈 Female, Desexed
🌈 Vaccinated, Microchipped, Wormed
🌈 FIV Negative
🌈 330 days in care

Tini is as cuddly as she is beautiful. She has the most loving, snuggly nature and absolutely adores human company. If she had it her way, she would spend all day curled up on your lap or tucked under your arm, purring away while she gets as much attention as possible. She loves being close to her people and will happily follow you from room to room just to keep you in sight.

When she isn’t soaking up affection, Tini is a playful, curious and bright young cat who loves chasing toys, exploring her surroundings and showing off her cheeky side. Once she’s finished having her fun, though, it doesn’t take long before she’s looking for her favourite human again and finding somewhere close by to curl up for a nap. 🤍

Tini is well-socialised, litter trained and beautifully mannered. She has absolutely thrived in foster care and has grown into such a confident, gentle and affectionate girl. She really is the kind of cat who could become someone’s little shadow and best friend.

But after 330 days, we really want Tini to finally experience having a family of her very own. She has spent such a huge portion of her young life in foster care, through absolutely no fault of her own, while watching so many other cats come and go around her.

Her foster family loves her dearly, but foster care was only ever supposed to be the place she stayed until her forever family found her. We know they have to be out there somewhere.

We would absolutely love to see Tini adopted before she reaches 365 days in care. She deserves to celebrate that milestone from her own home, with her own family, rather than still waiting for someone to choose her. 🌈

💕 If you think Tini could be the perfect addition to your family, you can read more about her and apply to adopt her here:

https://www.saveapawnt.org.au/adopt/tini/

Even if you can’t adopt, please share Tini’s post. After 330 days of waiting, maybe all it takes is one share for her person to finally find her. 🐾🤍

🏡 FOSTER NEEDED – SAMPSON 🤍

Our beautiful Sampson is looking for a very special foster home where he can settle in, decompress and learn that he is safe.

Sampson is an incredibly timid and anxious boy. Despite being frightened of the world, underneath all that uncertainty is a very sweet, friendly dog who absolutely loves his people. 🤍

Once Sampson decides you’re one of his people, he wants to be close to you. He needs someone patient, gentle and willing to give him plenty of love and reassurance while he builds his confidence.

🤍Wolfhound X
🤍10 months old
🤍Male
🤍Microchipped, vaccinated and wormed
🤍Soon to be desexed.
🤍Ecanis and heartworm testing at desexing

💚good with cats and dogs
💚has shown no interest in livestock
💚semi house trained

After his recent little adventure, Sampson has shown himself off already!
But because of this we do need to have some specific requirements for his foster home.

🏡 Sampson needs:
• Very secure fencing – this is non-negotiable
• Someone who is home a lot and can spend plenty of time with him
• Ideally, someone who can avoid leaving him alone initially while he settles into his new environment
• A calm, patient home that understands anxious and timid dogs
• Careful management around doors, gates and access outside while he learns that this is his new safe place
• Plenty of love, reassurance and patience 🤍

Sampson isn’t a difficult dog. He’s a frightened dog who becomes incredibly attached to the people he trusts.

He’s had a fairly overwhelming introduction to rescue life — including an unauthorised cross-country expedition that we’d all prefer never to repeat 😂 — and what he needs now is stability.

We want to find him somewhere he can properly exhale, settle into a routine and realise that he doesn’t need to be scared anymore.

He’s a beautiful, gentle, affectionate boy with so much love to give. He just needs someone willing to give him the extra time and reassurance he needs while he finds his feet.

If you have secure fencing, plenty of time and a soft spot for a slightly anxious lanky boy, Sampson might just be your perfect houseguest. 🤍🐾

Please get in touch with Save A Paw NT if you can foster Sampson.

🌟🌟 CAT OF THE MONTH – CARTER 🌟🌟

Say hello to our very special Cat of the Month, Carter! 🤎🐾

⭐️ CARTER HAS BEEN IN CARE FOR 257 DAYS ⭐️

For 257 days, Carter has been learning that people can be kind, hands can be gentle, and home can be somewhere you feel safe.

Now, we think it’s finally time someone chose him. 🤎

🐾 Male, desexed
🐾 DOB: 20/07/2017
🐾 Domestic Short Hair
🐾 Microchipped, vaccinated & wormed
🐾 FIV negative

Carter came into Save A Paw NT’s care after being brought in to be euthanised, described as aggressive and unhandleable.

But the cat we met wasn’t aggressive.

He was terrified.

During his first few weeks in foster care, Carter did everything he could to disappear. He hid beneath blankets and cat beds, and when there was nowhere left to hide, he would face the corner and tuck his head underneath his body.

Being approached, touched or even looked at could cause him enormous distress.

So we stopped asking anything of him.

He was given good food, fresh water, somewhere comfortable to sleep and, most importantly, time.

Slowly, Carter began to realise he was safe.

As he became comfortable enough to allow more handling, his foster carer noticed that he seemed particularly sensitive around his mouth, head and chin. A veterinary examination eventually revealed a broken tooth and an abscess.

After dental surgery relieved that pain, another little piece of Carter began to emerge.

He discovered that head scratches are actually pretty bloody fantastic. 🤎

And over the following months, the frightened cat who once desperately tried to make himself invisible began disappearing for an entirely different reason.

Because in his place appeared Carter.

A smoochy, chatty older gentleman who loves scratches and kisses, enjoys watching the world through the window and regularly has conversations with his humans — including a rather convincing “Hello!”, particularly when dinner is involved. 😂

He has impeccable litter and table manners, loves affection but also appreciates his own space, and will politely let you know when he has had enough socialising for the day.

But perhaps our favourite thing about Carter is how he now greets his foster carer.

He rolls onto his back and offers his belly for rubs.

For most cats, that might not sound particularly remarkable.

For Carter, it means everything.

This is a cat who once couldn’t bear to be looked at.

Now he makes himself completely vulnerable to someone he trusts. 🤎

After 257 days in care, Carter has done the hard part.

He has healed.

He has learned to trust.

He has discovered affection.

He has learned that the world doesn’t always have to be frightening.

Now he needs a home.

Carter is looking for a quiet home with no other pets and someone who understands that loving an animal like him means respecting his boundaries and allowing him to continue doing things at his own pace.

He doesn’t need someone to rescue him anymore.

He just needs someone to choose him. 🏡🤎

Let’s make September the month our beautiful older gentleman finally gets to go home.

🤎 To apply to adopt Carter:
https://www.saveapawnt.org.au/adoption-application/

And if Carter isn’t the cat for you, please share his story. After 257 days, his person might simply not have seen him yet. 🐾

🌟🌟 DOG OF THE MONTH – SIMMY 🌟🌟

Say hello to our beautiful Dog of the Month, Simmy! 🤍🐾

Simmy has now been waiting 153 days for her forever home, and after everything this gorgeous girl has overcome, we would absolutely love for September to finally be her month. 🥹🤍

💫 Female, desexed
💫 DOB: 16/12/2025
💫 Bull Arab Mix
💫 Vaccinated, microchipped & wormed
💫 E. canis treated

⭐️ SIMMY HAS BEEN IN CARE FOR 153 DAYS ⭐️

Simmy came into our care through incredibly unfortunate circumstances. She arrived frightened, uncomfortable and in desperate need of some TLC.

She was suffering from ehrlichiosis (E. canis) as well as a severe case of mange that had left her skin sore and her coat patchy.

But that frightened, uncomfortable little dog is almost unrecognisable today. 🤍

With veterinary treatment, good nutrition and plenty of love from her foster carers, Simmy has absolutely blossomed.

Her skin has healed, her beautiful coat has grown back, and most importantly, we have watched her confidence grow as she has learned what it feels like to be safe and loved.

Despite everything she experienced before coming into care, Simmy has remained the sweetest, most gentle girl. She has left her difficult beginning firmly behind her and is more than ready to start the next chapter of her life.

153 days is a long time to wait.

Simmy has done the recovering.

She’s done the healing.

She’s learned to trust.

Now she just needs someone to choose her. 🤍

We would absolutely love to see our September Pet of the Month finally find the family she has been waiting so patiently for.

Could Simmy be the one you’ve been waiting for too? 🐾🤍

To learn more about Simmy or apply to adopt her, please visit ➡️ https://www.saveapawnt.org.au/adopt/simmy/

Even if you can’t adopt, please share Simmy’s post. Somewhere out there is the family she has spent the last 153 days waiting for. 🌟
