Huge congratulations to Natalie who is the first Guide from our recent Casey District Earthkeepers camp to officially become an Earthkeeper after completing the tasks for the Y and S keys ๐Ÿ’š
Natalie has inspired others and spread awareness of how to treat the earth with care. Natalie also committed to reducing her environmental footprint and built a deeper appreciation for the outdoors.
Bravo Natalie, very well done ๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒฟ

Cranbourne Girl Guides joined other Guides in Casey District for the Casey District Survivor indoor and outdoor camp.
After the Guides received their tribe buffs they headed to get the tree mail, chose their tribe name and made their tribe flags.
The Guides chose to do activities such as caving, the possum flyer, archery, flying fox, climbing wall and iceblocking.
Possum was excited to see some beautiful pink heath growing on the roadside while her and Kiwi were walking to the caves with the girls. The girls were interested to learn it is the state floral emblem
On campfire night we were joined by a gorgeous Tawny Frogmouth, who enjoyed listening to the girls sing. ๐ŸŽถ ๐ŸŽต
Rain on Sunday didn't stop our Girl Guides from enjoying a Survivor wide game, where they did a food challenge, eating eye balls and other delicious treats ๐Ÿ˜‰, they built a raft for Barbie with a lashing technique, learnt fire lighting skills, did tracking and they managed to take all the tents down before the rain hit. There were lots more fun activites too. ๐Ÿ•

๐ŸŒŸ Celebrating Our Amazing Leaders!๐ŸŒŸ

Two of our amazing leaders were presented with their 5 year service awards this week.

๐ŸŽ‰ Congratulations to Linda (Echidna), on an incredible 2 years of service with Cranbourne Girl Guides and 5 years with Upwey Girl Guides. Linda is a leader with Cranbourne Print Guides.

๐ŸŽ‰ Congratulations to Ash (Rainbow), on an amazing 5 years of service with Cranbourne Girl Guides. Ash is a leader with Cranbourne One n Only Ranger Guides.

Girl Guides wouldnโ€™t be possible without the passion and commitment of our Unit Leaders. Weโ€™re so thankful for everything they do to support and empower the next generation of girls. ๐Ÿ’™

ANZAC Day March 2026
Thank you to all the Girl Guides and leaders which included a few from Narre Warren this year, who attended today's march. Seeing our girls getting involved on such an important occasion makes us proud.
It was wonderful to be able to take part in the march and pay our respects. We are grateful to all who have served so we can enjoy the freedom we have today.
Thank you to the Paw Prints for making the wreath this year. Well done and thank you to Katherine, Trisha and Ellliott for laying the wreath.
Thank you to Alice, Ella and Kayleigh for carrying the flags.
We were blessed with gorgeous weather this year.
๐ŸŒŸWell done everyone ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŒŸ ๐ŸŒบ Lest we forget ๐ŸŒบ

ANZAC Day is an important time to acknowledge the contribution of those who have served and continue to serve in our armed forces.

Today Cranbourne Girl Guides will be participating in the Cranbourne Anzac Day service and march. We remember those who have served our country, and honour their courage, dedication and sacrifice.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn;
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
We will remember them.

๐ŸŒบLest we forget๐ŸŒบ
