This doesn't happen too often where we present multiple peak awards so close together. So we are very excited to celebrate another one of our Cub Scouts, Ember on achieving her Grey Wolf Award last month.

This Volunteers Week, we celebrate the incredible people who make 1st Cranbourne Scout Group possible 💚💛🤎

From our Leaders and Committee members to our parent helpers and supporters — thank you for the countless hours, energy, patience and passion you give to our young people each and every week.

Because of you, our Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and Rovers have opportunities to learn new skills, make lifelong friendships, challenge themselves and create amazing memories.

Scouting truly takes a village, and we are so lucky to have such a dedicated community standing behind our youth.

Thank you for everything you do — your impact reaches further than you know.

Our Scout Group has started the year off strong with not one but three peak awards being achieved already.

Congratulations to Imogen on achieving her Joey Scouts Promise Award, to Ava on achieving her Grey Wolf Award, the peak award in Cub Scouts and to Veronica on achieving her Australian Scout Award.

🌸 Mother’s Day Market This Saturday! 🌸

Our friends from Little Fox Market will be hosting a beautiful Mother’s Day Market right here at our hall this Saturday 9th May at 1st Cranbourne Scout Hall 💐

While this event isn’t run by us, we absolutely love supporting those who support our community 💛

There will be something for everyone — from unique gifts and handmade goodies to treats and more. It’s the perfect chance to find something special for Mum while supporting local businesses 🛍️

This morning our 1st Cranbourne Scout Group came together to honour ANZAC Day — attending the dawn service, sharing a gunfire breakfast at the hall, and proudly marching in Cranbourne.

As we stood together, we reflected on the courage, sacrifice and spirit of the ANZACs, remembering those who served and those who gave so much for our country and our freedoms.

It was incredibly special to see all five sections represented, from our youngest Joeys right through to our very first Rover. Watching our youth members and leaders march with such pride and respect was something truly meaningful.

We are so proud of our scouting family and the way we came together to remember, reflect, and show our respect.

Lest we forget. 🌺

1st Cranbourne Scout Group will be continuing the tradition of marching and attending both ANZAC Day services.

The Scouts had some fun over the Easter weekend including racing the motorised eskys.

Stradbroke Cup is a massive camp and they scored a well deserved Silver. This means that as a patrol, they followed the camping standards well enough to be able to camp without any adult assistance. Well done all!

🐣 Thank You from 1st Cranbourne Scout Group! 🐣

What an incredible day at our very first Easter Market! We are so grateful for the amazing support from our community.

While unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side, it certainly didn’t dampen our spirits — we kept shining through and made the most of the day together. 🌦️✨

A huge thank you to our wonderful stall holders, our dedicated youth members, leaders and committee who all worked so hard behind the scenes to make the day such a success.

We’d also like to extend a special thank you to our major sponsor, Jo Mooney - Licensed Estate Agent , for your generous support.

To everyone who came along, made purchases, and supported both our group and the fantastic small businesses at our market — thank you! Every little bit truly makes a difference.

Congratulations to all of our raffle winners, and to the winner of our “guess the eggs” jar — there were 192 eggs in total! Amazingly, the winning guess came from the second last number sold!

A massive shout out to Skye Kenney and the Sharp family for their incredible generosity in donating all three of our raffle prizes — we appreciate you so much.

We couldn’t have asked for a better first Easter market considering the weather and can’t wait to do it all again! 💛

There's stalls packed with jewellery, homewares & gifts, candles & diffusers, jams & relishes, baked goods, and so much more - PLUS Easter activities for the kids and a sausage sizzle run by our Venturer Scouts! 🥚🐰
