We were formed by members of the 2023 Voice Referendum Cooper for Yes campaign who were energised to keep working together locally and beyond in solidarity with

Darebin Solidarity were proud to stand with the Aboriginal netballers who'd be subjected to racist taunts and their families at last night's protest at Latrobe Stadium. The protest was quiet and peaceful but the presence of so many drove home the point that racism in sport is totally unacceptable.

The Anniversary of the National Apology to the Stolen Generations was held at the Town Hall in Preston on Friday. There were many beautiful and moving stories told that highlighted the strength, resilience and love in the Aboriginal community. So much more needs to be done for Stolen Generation people and to stop the high rates of out of home care for Aboriginal children.
