Marra Guwiyap Garden is a communal place for growing food, eco-sustainability, & sharing activities.

Marra Guwiyap Garden (nee Croxton Community Garden) was formed in late 2019 when a group of residents started organising to acquire land on which to create an organic garden and form community connections. Our vision is for a shared, accessible space, creating a safer, healthier and more resilient environment and providing an amenity where the broader neighbourhood can come together in shared soci

al and educational events. Please note this is a community space and as such there are no private plots for rent currently. Want to get involved?

A brilliant second session of the Preserving Olives workshop. Thanks to Ralph & Sharon for hosting, & all who baked/cooked our communal feast. We then preserved olives in brine or pickles & a range of herbs, spices, garlic, onion & lemon. It was a TOTAL joy!🫒❤️🌞🍻🍷🎉

Week 1 - organic olives picked from our garden, their first week in brine solution 😁🫒

A great working bee today with a terrific harvest. Thanks to all who attended, and those who made pumpkin soup & bread to share.

A fabulous afternoon with garden members, prepping locally harvested olives. We slit, crushed & pitted them in prep for soaking in brine over coming weeks. Loads of fun 🍻🍷🫒 Thanks to Ralph & Sharon for hosting.
