What a difference it makes when like-minded people get together. Last weekend’s Clean Up Australia project hit the ground running in Eynesbury where Rotary Eynesbury partnered with Eynesbury Environment Group and Friends of Eynesbury to tackle the waterways between Greenhill Rd. And St. Arnaud Rd. Builders waste was abundant but gone for now, a big thanks to the organisers.

Rotary Eynesbury is welcoming our newest member Katarina into our Club this Thursday and excited about the skills and talents she is bringing with her. Katarina was a big influence on our Halloween event in 2025 and already bringing forward lots of energy and new ideas.

We also welcome our Guest Speaker this week in Susan-Gaye Anderson, Susie worked as television presenter in the pioneer days of Australian TV.

Susie worked for many years as a freelance writer for The Age and Home Beautiful magazine, she has had plays workshopped and produced at La Mama Theatre Works and Forty-Five Downstairs theatres and has published a collection of poetry 'On Roll The Days’ and a novel 'A Red Hibiscus’

Susie is passionate about encouraging people to record their life stories and this talk is to encourage, motivate and hopefully make that easier.

Our Club meets each Thursday at Ms. Peacock's Bar and Restaurant at 6.30pm for 7.00pm and visitors are always welcome. There are no charges to attend the meetings.

This week's meeting will also be available on ZOOM for those interested in Susie's Story and happy to have you join us if interested. For meeting details please contact us to book in by DM or email to [email protected]. Further details: 0411 228 311.
