🌿💛 Thank you for a beautiful market day!

From the sounds of youth busking filling the air 🎶 to delicious locally made jam 🍓, it was another wonderful day celebrating the creativity, talent and community spirit of our region.

A huge thank you to our amazing stallholders, musicians and everyone who came along to shop local and support small businesses.

We’re so lucky to have talented makers right here in our own backyard — and this beautiful pottery is made locally in Upper Crystal Creek. 💚

Each piece is handmade with its own character, perfect for bringing a little bit of the Tweed Valley into your home.

🌻 A little flashback to Chillingham Community Market…

17 years ago, this little market was already bringing the Chillingham community together — local stalls, good food, familiar faces and that wonderful country-market feeling. 💚

So lovely to look back and see how much of that community spirit was there from the very beginning.

And now, 17 years on, the market continues…

🍓🌿 A LITTLE TASTE OF CHILLINGHAM

Did you know the Chillingham Community Association makes its own delicious range of locally made jams and sauces?

And there’s a special Chillingham story behind some of them… 💚

Made from fruit grown right here, including the massive mulberry tree that shades the tables at the Community Centre. 🌳🍇

Picked, cooked and made by the Chillingham community, these jars are a delicious little taste of the place we call home — and a lovely way to support the work of the Community Association.

This Sunday the 13th of September the Chillingham Markets will be on from 8am till 1pm.

There will be plenty of stalls with something for everyone.

🎨 The kids craft table will be up and running for the little ones to keep busy, as well as other activities.

🎶 Music will be playing all throughout the day.

🍴 The kitchen will be serving breakfast and lunch and a variety of cakes and slices. A good selection of drinks will be available also.

🐕 We are a dog friendly market so bring your furry friends along, we just ask that they are kept on leads at all times.

🚜 Mt warning restorers will have a display at the back of the market, so come have a look and learn some great information about what they do.

Mt warning restorers are dedicated to the collection and preservation of our local farming and mechanical heritage from the smallest hand tools and pumps to vintage trucks and earth moving machinery. Our members take pride in their collections and often have a story to go along with their display so feel free to drop in for a look at the Chillingham Markets this Sunday
