Two more deliveries, this week. 10 pump bags to Silver Chain Palliative Care Maddington and 100 beautiful soft toys for the Paediatric Emergency department. And a big thank you to Jillian and Jen for doing the deliveries. 💖

A lovely box of items off to Joondalup NICU. 40 wraps, 10 octopus gifts, 20 developmental hearts, 6 beanies and 20 pop tops.

Good Morning 🌞 Welcome to the first day of Spring 💐🐝🌷 and the day we release our monthly needs via our traffic light system. We have rearranged our list to show our highest demands at the top. If you love sewing and have no where to gift your talents, we are the place for you.
🧶We have lots of fabrics and precut items as well, you just need to get in touch with us and let us know what you would like to sew.
🧶For those new to us, we sew and gift to various hospitals around Perth and WA including but not limited to PCH, KEMH, Joondalup, Fiona Stanley, SJOG Subiaco, SJOG Murdoch, Peel, Rockingham, Bunbury and Kununurra. We also give to Little Things for Tiny Tots, Dandelions WA, Limits, and other agencies related to children's care and those with a disability.
Come and join us. Sew from home or join in on our monthly sewing bees.

Hello September 🌟 Our charity sewing community needs you. We sew for WA hospital patients, giving love by the things we make and at the same time diverting kg’s of fabric that could otherwise end up in landfill.
This month sewing projects include bucket hats for oncology children, quilts for palliative and transitional care wards, neonatal ICU gowns, baby bins, multicultural cloth dolls for children in care and small snugglies for children.
Come along to one of our sewing bees to find out more OR join our Facebook group for patterns and sew from home.
We have prec cut pick up projects and drop offs via volunteers in the sewing bee areas as well.

We are so lucky to receive so many wonderful fabric donations, both for our charitable sewing and for our OpShop.
At present we have a LOT of fabric that needs sorting, measuring and labeling. Are you able to help with a plastic tub or two or a few?
I will be in the storage space in Carramar tomorrow if you are able to pick up a box. Please let me know.

Can you help? Due to our increase in our regular requests we have fallen behind in our stocks of Dignity drain bags, Lollipop (Niki) pump bags and Fidget/sensory quilts/mats.

🥰 If you are able to help we would love for you to make some of these items.
🌼The dignity IDC bag and Lollipop pump bag patterns are in our group files, while the fidget mats are a little 'use your own creativity' and ideas can be found within our photo album and using the search bar within our sewing group page.

There are pre cut fidget packs at Carramar to pick up if you'd like any of these to get you started; We will check it there are any at other coordinator/volunteer locations.

We have recently been asked a few times about sizes of requested quilts. Here is a few tips for them. At the moment we have requests for over 35 quilts monthly.
