Little Astra's one of the little "Buxton Buddies" who were the 16 (at least) dumped on the side of the 100km/hour stretch of road between Buxton and Couridjah just a few weeks ago.

The little ones in care are now ready to meet with prospective adopters and we'd LOVE to tell anyone more about their characters AND arrange meet-and-greets 🤞🤞🤞

Like the others, Astra will be desexed before adoption, is microchipped and free of parasites, has started her vaccinations and just hoping to find a safe, loving indoor-only home for life! 🙏🐾❤

Astra's adoption fee of $190 goes directly back toward the care, desexing vaccination and parasite prevention of the next little one we take in as we are all volunteers 😊🙏🐾

Guess who was SO brave and went in for her desexing, vaccination and dental scale and polish yesterday?!?! YES... it was Miss Nova!!!

Nova is a BEAUTIFUL 5-year-old Husky girl who's looking for her "Furr-ever Home".

Nova's an absolute darling who's seeking a new home through no fault of her own.

We've got HEAPS of pictures and clips of her going into the vets etc. and we'd LOVE to share more information about her with any potential adopters. Better still.... We'd LOVE to arrange a meet-and-greet!!😃🙏🐾

Two more of the "Buxton Buddies" are ready to find their "Forever Homes"!!!!

Introducing Tuff (our black & white baby)... Who is a super special little guy who not only put up one of the strongest fights when being rescued we've EVER seen (so much so that one of the team had to have a surgery to remove one of his tiny teeth from her finger!!!!) but who's also turned out to be the BIGGEST sook and a sucker for a food treat 😂😅

Then there's Ghost.... Who's just a stunning little guy, in foster care with Tuff and enjoying his company. Ghost is also a sweetheart.... If only we could ask them their story!!!???? Why were these little ones dumped on the side of the road along with (at least) 14 others?!?!

All our little ones are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, parasite free and health checked prior to adoption to loving, indoor-only homes

This is SO UNFAIR!!!

Our darling Gingko, through absolutely no fault of his own, has had his adoption fall through 😢

Gingko is an absolute darling of a cat.... Only a kitten still at 10 months-of-age and very affectionate with both his foster parents and other cats he's been around.

All Gingko's siblings have been adopted after they were all rescued from the life of a homeless cat, having been born in a barn in Orangeville, NSW. Gingko and his siblings have been lucky enough to have been found and rescued as tiny kittens so would have no memory of life in The Wild

As with all our little ones seeking their safe, loving, indoor-only homes for life, Gingko has been desexed, vaccinated, received the best of parasite prevention and food, been microchipped and health checked.

With microchip number 991003001986098 Gingko asks an adoption fee of only $290 which goes directly back toward the care of another little one in need of help

Remember little Hugo??? Just back in May he was a little dude hoping to find a wonderful family of his own....

Well... He sure did and we've received AMAZING updates and assurances that he's a "very loved member of the family" ☺️🐾

We could NOT have wished for more for him and we're so very grateful that his amazing family chose to adopt an otherwise little homeless guy through AnimAID ❤🐾😊

Introducing Miss Nova!

For those of you who may remember Kaya (who found the MOST AMAZING home with Jo).... Well.... This is actually her sister, Nova.

Nova is another darling Husky girl who, through no fault of her own, is in need of a loving, new, home-for-life 🤞🤞🤞

Miss Nova is in care near Buxton, NSW and will be desexed, have had a fresh scale and polish of her teeth, be up to date with her vaccinations and parasite prevention and is already ready to meet prospective new owners!😃🙏

Like Kaya, Nova turned 5 years-of-age at the end of May 2026 so has many years of fun and love ahead of her.

A small adoption fee will apply but, ultimately, we'd just like the right home for Nova

For anyone who doesn't know Monty..... He is our Head of Kitten Entertainment and Socialisation😊🐾 He gained this title due to the fact that, for some reason, even scared kittens and cats seem to be OK with him... we don't know why - We've even had a couple of kittens who needed medications which we could ONLY give to them if Monty was present AND they've gone on to find loving homes as a result ❤🐾

For anyone who may have noticed Monty's slightly "odd" appearance... He's got his own health challenges ....

Monty was born with a genetic condition which means that he has many bald areas on his body, has none of the normal dog sweat glands, had abnormal eyelids for which he had to have surgeries AND very few adult teeth. But he's adored and is changing the world of other animals in need by being a part of the AnimAID family

Oh Betty!!! We LOVE you!

Little Miss Betty was abandoned with one of our local veterinary partners with bite wounds to her left foreleg BUT... she's such a resilient, affectionate and confident young lady so she didn't let that set her back 😊🐾❤

Betty is SUCH a darling girl with people, other cats and kittens AND the friendly dogs she's met so she's just waiting to find the LOVING, SAFE, INDOOR-ONLY, HOME FOR LIFE she deserves.

Betty's only a baby, at around 7 months-of-age now, so she's got a long life ahead of her.

The old injuries to her left foreleg have been treated but have left her with a funny little limp which just makes her all the more special but with no ongoing special needs😊🐾❤

Betty is a DARLING! She's desexed, vaccinated, parasite free and microchipped and her adoption feen of $290 goes directly back toward the care of the next little one in need of rescue.
