Rise at 6am, for six days in June, for the six veterans we lose by su***de every month in Australia.

ZERO600, an Invictus Australia challenge, is calling on individuals, workplaces, clubs and communities to get up, get connected and get active to raise vital funds for veteran sport and mental health support.

From 1–6 June, participants commit to waking at 6am, stepping out into the winter dark and starting the day with purpose - whether it’s a walk, run, ride, swim or simple sunrise stretch. Inspired by the power of military routine, ZERO600 turns early mornings into a way to support programs that strengthen the physical and mental wellbeing of veterans and their families, and help prevent veteran su***de.

Anyone can sign up as an individual or create a team, set their own morning challenge, and fundraise using ready-made resources from Invictus Australia.

On this day in 1916, the Returned & Services League of Australia (RSL Australia) was established by veterans determined to support those who had served, and their families.

For 110 years, the RSL has stood for mateship, compassion, and service, advocating for the wellbeing of current and former Australian Defence Force members and preserving the spirit of service in our nation.

Today, we honour the legacy and ongoing mission of the RSL, and all those who have served Australia with dedication and courage.
