What a fun August rally day at HWPC yesterday! Our numbers may have been down, but that didn't stop the wonderful line up of guest instructors and activities planned.

Our day started with an informative and engaging dentistry talk and full demonstration by Ali Gollan, followed by fabulous lessons:
- ASH workouts by Miranda Rogers
- Trick riding by Matt Gollan
- Mounted certificate work/jumping with Abbey Lonsdale

Thankyou so much to our guest instructors! Each one received countless positive feedback comments by riders and their parents, which is a testament to the quality of instructors that we engage at HWPC each month.

Finally, thankyou to each and every member for doing their part in making our rally such a success. From the canteen, to setting up/packing up, gear check, checking toilets. It all gets done without being asked. No roster needed. Everyone just pitches in and does what's needed.

A special mention to the Warnock family for somehow managing 2 small children and running the canteen. Absolute superstars. Thankyou! ⭐️⭐️

We now look forward to our ribbon day, which will be held on Sunday 13th September. 🏅

We did it! 🐴✨ Our BBQ fundraiser was a massive success!
A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support us at Sugarloaf Angus Stud's Annual Bull Sale. We are incredibly grateful for the immense support of our members and local community.

A special thankyou goes to the Tickle family for generously allowing us to cook for their sale and their incredible generosity.This fundraiser will add $$$ back into our little club, which will go towards paying for quality instructors and much needed infrastructure improvements at our grounds.

Another rider achievement post 🥰

A very big congratulations to Abbey Lonsdale on her recent success at the NSW Young Rider Dressage Championships, held at SIEC on the weekend. Abbey and Elvis (aka Special Edition) competed in the Advanced tests, claiming 4th overall in the Championship. An impressive achievement, considering they were the only pony combination in her field.

We are very lucky to have the talent of Abbey in our club, and we are grateful that she happily shares her knowledge with our members. It is wonderful to have role models like Abbey (and Milla T) competing at such high levels in their chosen disciplines, showing our younger riders what is possible with practice, hard work, determination and a genuine love of horses.

We had 3 members who participated in the Denman Pony club camp, held over the weekend. Charli L, Zoe C and Lilija J, your photos look like you had an absolute ball learning new skills and having a go at different disciplines. Well done, girls!🐴

Well done to HWPC riders, Zoe & Poppi! They both represented Zone 25 at the Zone 23 Mounted Games Championships today. Their teams placed 2nd & 3rd over all in the end of day point score. It looks like you both had a super fun day! 🐴

🐴 June Rally 🐴

Our riders participated in a range of activities, including dressage with Mary Nitschke, jumping equitation with Clare Collett, PC Mount with Abbey Lonsdale (2 x State Showrider PC Mount Champion), and horsemanship with Jodie Harris.

They were also treated to a dressage demonstration by Abbey and Mary, which demonstrated advanced dressage movements. Our members and their families were mesmorised by the impressive display of Abbey and 'Elvis' as they performed their 'fancy dancing tricks'. Our riders particularly enjoyed practising their 'two-time changes' on foot!
This demonstration was a wonderful learning experience for our young riders, showcasing the possibilities that can be achieved through effort, commitment, and training.

Our rally concluded with mounted games, making it a fun, educational, and social day.

A very big thankyou goes to all of our instructors for giving up their time to teach our children, our sponsor The LeMottee Group and our families for making today (and every club day) run smoothly by helping out and lending a hand where needed.
