There's always something fascinating to find on Katy's bench, and Sunday's exploration was no exception. The sterling silver lost wax designs have turned out exceptionally well. As each piece demands meticulous attention to detail in shaping, buffing, stone setting, and polishing, we'll reveal the completed works in future updates.

The day's schedule featured a comprehensive lost wax casting tutorial, with part one coming soon, alongside concurrent activities on the faceting floor and workbenches involving the usual suspects. Peter and John were deeply engaged in their respective faceting projects, with Peter working on the pavilion of a CZ amethyst and John focusing on the crown of a red stone. Sue effectively multitasked by participating in the lost wax tutorial while crafting brass coils. Lois Bird's Celtic-inspired bracelet project showcased her creativity, and Jaclyn Woodward's bangle demonstrated considerable progress. Shelley made significant advancements with her sterling silver twist ring. Bill's copper work exemplified his creativity, producing two striking rings with a hammer finish.

On a rather wet Wednesday the creative juices were flowing. Bill crafted a stunning textured copper ring (see the progress pic + the finished piece). Jaclyn Woodward made awesome progress on a pretty Stirling silver bracelet. Scarlett made a fantastic hammer finish Stirling silver ring. Liz finished off a gorgeous green sea glass ring in a fancy stirling silver bezel. Shelley started a twisted stirling silver ring. Bob contemplated tactics to finish his giant faceted quartz k**b and I'm sure he made some progress.. Peggy was working away on her repurposed bangle. Anita was working on a pretty little pair of feather earrings. Another wonderful Wednesday indeed.
