Come and join us for a wonderful day out on 7th November. Sit back and enjoy the comfort of our 621/721 Heritage Rail Motor. Then a cruise on the spectacular Hawkesbury River - indigenous rock carvings, secluded beaches, waterfalls, islands and national parks.

Pick ups from Paterson, Maitland, Broadmeadow and Cardiff, starting at 9am. A delicious morning tea will be served on the train and lunch on the boat. We are fully licenced so no BYOG. We arrive back in Paterson at 6.30pm.

We had an unexpected visitor at the Open Day today. This little Jack Russell is a well known wanderer, so we were able to contact his owner, who collected him before he could get into any mischief on the main line.

An excellent turnout at the Rail Motor Society's Open Day. Three full carriages for the trip to Dungog and a lot of interested people enjoyed the tour of the shed and museum.

If you are interested in volunteering with us come along to the OPEN DAY at Paterson this Sunday 16 August. We need trades people (fitters, upholsterers, electricians, boilermakers, etc), carriage attendants and general duties people. Talk to us and find out whether you would enjoy working with a great group of people.
