Just to give you an idea of the impact you're having: we just received a notification that a single drop-off of 425 containers turned into a $42.50 donation for Love This City! 🥳🙌

MEET PHIL: OUR 68-YEAR-OLD MARATHON MAN! 🌟

At a time when many people are taking it easy in their retirement, Phil is gearing up to run 21.1km.

At 68, he is proof that new challenges are the key to staying healthy and motivated through every stage of life.

This will be Phil's third half marathon. When asked why he chose Love This City as his cause this time, Phil shared that he simply felt a clear prompting that he needed to use his run to help others.
Previous marathons have had deep personal significance for Phil - his first run was for his beautiful wife, Jenny. For his third, he is combining his passion for running with his desire to make a tangible difference in our city.

Phil is an inspiration to us all, and his dedication is incredible.

Community Update: Supporting HavaFeed ❤️
As many of you know, our friends Lindsay and Robyn at HavaFeed had a tough break-in over the Easter break. They do incredible work serving the vulnerable in Mermaid Beach, and while the community response has been amazing, they are still facing some empty shelves a few weeks on.

Love This City is heading down early next week to make a special delivery, and we’d love to show up with a van full of supplies! 🚐💨

Even though we’ve just wrapped up our hamper drive, if you have any capacity to help, we are collecting the following high-priority items:

🥛 Long Life Milk

🌽 Tinned Veggies

🍝 Tinned Spaghetti

🥣 Cereal

Friday morning well spent!

Big shout out of thanks to this incredible crew of volunteers who spent the last Friday of the school holidays packing clothing for our local hospital.

The Dress Her with Dignity program is a beautiful reminder that when we partner together, we can provide tangible hope to women in crisis. For a victim survivor presenting at hospital in such a vulnerable moment, this clothing, underwear and toiletry kits provide not just practical help, but a sense of safety and a reminder of her worth.

So grateful for our volunteers, generous donors, and our partnership with which makes this possible

This term, the Pantry Project is aiming to gift 50 hampers to local school families doing it tough. We’ve seen firsthand the difference a simple hamper can make.

We need your help to reach our goal by Sunday, April 19th!
