Walk With Us Walk With Us is a grassroots community built on kindness and care. Our philosophy is simple: be a good human! The group meets monthly.

Since 2015, we’ve supported those experiencing homelessness, disadvantaged youth, individuals facing mental health struggles, and DV survivors. Walk With Us is a not for profit organisation that was established in 2015 and supports those experiencing homelessness. Walk With Us also supports youth, those experiencing mental health issues and domestic violence. Walk With Us is an evolving, organic,

grass roots led organisation that continues to adapt to the needs of the community that they serve. Walk With Us provides a weekly service that includes sit down hot dinner for approximately 50 people which is located in Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast. Youth Collective a sister project to Walk With Us and was established in 2022. These services integrate the further needs of these communities. It is a space where referrals for services are able to be facilitated to harness the needs of the individuals attending the service. It is also a space for inclusion of community and connection. An annual Christmas Lunch is held and the work of Walk With Us is self-funded through fundraising, donations and grants when the opportunity presents. Follow us on Instagram

Come along and join us on Wednesday from 11am - 2pm at the Croation Club 181 Nerang - Southport Road, Carrara.

We’re excited to welcome as many local families and community members through the doors as possible for this fantastic FREE community event!

We’ve got plenty of fun happening on the day including:
Sausage sizzle
Slushies
Face painting
Balloon twisting
Badge making
Lucky door prizes
Stallholder prize
A fun photo booth
… and best of all, it’s ALL FREE!

We’re really looking forward to a fun-filled day of connection, community spirit, and bringing families together.

We would like to share our deepest appreciation to our Day 1 supporters The Event Crew 💙

Without the ongoing support from the team over at TEC, we simply wouldn’t have a charity or a place to run our behind the scenes services from. They have continuously shown their support, day in and day out from the very start.

We are fortunate enough to rent out a part of the warehouse for our office, and most importantly a safe place to store our food supplies for hampers and all our products to give to those who are in need. In this economy, we understand that it isn’t financially viable to be renting out storage sheds after storage sheds, as we are a non for profit charity. The continued help from our beautiful family at The Event Crew is one of our major contributors to why we are able to keep our charity doors open.

We will never be able to say thank you for all the support we have received, and know that we will be lucky enough to continue to receive.

On Monday night I (Nikki) was awarded an award from Rotary Burleigh Heads. I am sharing this as even though it has my name on the trophy it is for everyone who has been involved with Walk With Us past and present to get to where we have today.
