Walk With Us Walk With Us is a grassroots community built on kindness and care. Our philosophy is simple: be a good human! The group meets monthly.

Since 2015, we’ve supported those experiencing homelessness, disadvantaged youth, individuals facing mental health struggles, and DV survivors. Walk With Us is a not for profit organisation that was established in 2015 and supports those experiencing homelessness. Walk With Us also supports youth, those experiencing mental health issues and domestic violence. Walk With Us is an evolving, organic, grass roots led organisation that continues to adapt to the needs of the community that they serve. Walk With Us provides a weekly service that includes sit down hot dinner for approximately 50 people which is located in Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast. Youth Collective a sister project to Walk With Us and was established in 2022. These services integrate the further needs of these communities. It is a space where referrals for services are able to be facilitated to harness the needs of the individuals attending the service. It is also a space for inclusion of community and connection. An annual Christmas Lunch is held and the work of Walk With Us is self-funded through fundraising, donations and grants when the opportunity presents. Follow us on Instagram

A really good human !

Thank you to longtime supporter and friend of Walk With Us - a really good human Joel Parkinson for donating his signed surfboard to be raffled at the Gold Coast Turf Club on Saturday, 17th October. It’s going to be a fun and exciting day, as Spring racing hits full stride with an action-packed day of live local racing, plus all the excitement from the Caulfield Cup and The Everest broadcast across the big screens.
If see you Walk With Us team of volunteers, say hi and purchase a bunch of raffle tickets 🎫 you could be taking home Joel Parkinson ‘s signed board or memorabilia Joel has generously donated !!!

Last week was a very big and most wonderful week bts at Walk With Us and the rest of the month is continuing to be much of the same finishing with Trivia Fundraiser Night 30th October 🤩

A huge thank you to Leon Rebello MP - Federal Member for McPherson for the consistent support towards the thing we love to do. We were lucky enough to be nominated for the Community Organisation of the Year…. And we were even more fortunate to win it 💙

A massive thank you as always to our beautiful volunteers. The ones that joined us at the event and the ones who support us week in & week out. Our charity wouldn’t be functional if it wasn’t for you all.

Again, thank you to Leon and his team for the ongoing support, love and respect you show us and the community. We see your hard work and the dedication you show towards our home and the people who live here. So from all of us, a huge thank you!

For those who support us silently, from afar or loudly. We appreciate you all. We have been lucky enough to build a community apart from our friends on the street, but of strangers who have become family.. and show us support in unexplainable levels. We love you all 💙🌟

Because of your dedication and heart, Walk With Us has been named a finalist in the McPherson Honours this Friday night! Thank you to for running this night to celebrate all the fantastic people on the Gold Coast.
