This weekend Bundaberg Pottery Group Inc hosted a 2 day workshop with Peta Berghoffer! Peta is a true professional artist with a beautiful aesthetic and is an equally beautiful person. She guided our group of potters to explore our personal stories and how to represent them through abstract form and colour. Sharing our experimental designs here but cant wait to see them fired and glazed!!

Saturday mornings from 9 am to 12 pm for 3 consecutive weeks. Class size of 3 students.
The cost is $180 for the 3 weeks paid upfront. Students must commit to the 3 classes. No refunds given for missed classes. Clay and tools provided. Students need only to bring an apron and to wear closed shoes.

A big thank you to everyone who participated! Your entries truly helped shine a spotlight on our Bundaberg Pottery Club and showcased the wonderful diversity and quality of our work. It’s heartwarming to see how much the community appreciates our contribution to this special event.

Narelle Lewis, our judge, thoughtfully explained her choices for the winners, which adds an extra layer of appreciation for the talent on display. We enjoyed a lovely Show luncheon together at The Bundaberg Botanic Gardens, sharing good food and good company.

A special shout-out to our kiln workers—you all did an amazing job getting everyone’s pieces finished on time for the competition. Your hard work made this possible!
