🎧 FIRST PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT: KOMANG! 🎉

We’re so excited to announce our first program reveal for the Brunswick Multicultural Festival!

Helping us create the soundtrack for this year’s festival is komang ama 🌀 — a Balinese-Australian artist, music producer, vocalist and DJ based in Naarm (Melbourne).

As a DJ and selector her eclectic sets bounce playfully between worlds, from Indonesian city pop to dub, broken beat and soul.

With a passion for the intersections of art, cultural expression and community-building, Komang is also an event organiser, youth educator and member of Indonesian-Australian arts collective Nongkrong.

We’re thrilled to have Komang joining us this year! 💃🏽🕺🏽

Siru has been instrumental in running our Community Support Hub and helping set up our new Board Games social group. Her enthusiasm, dedication and willingness to get involved have made such a positive impact on our community. ✨
