Brunswick Scottish Society

Brunswick Scottish Society Based in Melbourne, Australia, the Brunswick Scottish Society holds monthly and yearly activities celebrating traditional Scottish culture.

Brunswick Scottish Society was formed in 1910 to celebrate all things Scottish. Every year we host a Burns Supper in February, along with our regular monthly social dances held on the third Saturday of each month (excluding June when we have our Grand Ceilidh Dance, and January). We have regular displays of highland dancing from the Glenbrae Celtic Dancers. In recent years we have gathered regular

parties from differing social groups to join our social dances, which has invigorated the atmosphere. We have a number of Scottish-born members as well as those of us with Scottish ancestry. You will find a rage of age groups, all with a welcoming smile.

Our Christmas social was made even more special as we were treated to live music for a few of our dances thanks to A Wee Dram Ceilidh Band. Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and we look forward to seeing everyone in 2026

Our current offical piper - Graham was also apart of the mass pipes. See if you can spot him in the crowd.
