🎄Holiday parkrun update 🎄

A quick heads up for our parkrun community: we will NOT be holding special events on Christmas Day or New Year's Day this holiday period.

But if you're keen to start your celebrations with a parkrun, our friends at will be running special events on both days! 🏃‍♀️🚶‍♀️🦺 🧑‍🎄
🍾

🙋We do still need volunteers for our regular Saturday events over this holiday period. If you're around and can lend a hand l, we'd love to have you on the vollie team. Whether you're a regular volunteer or giving it a go for the first time, everyone is welcome 💜

Email us at [email protected] to volunteer!

Melbourne Marathon Festival weekend is one of our favourite weekends of the year when we’re joined by heaps of visitors from around the country. This morning we welcomed folks from Perth, Launceston, Canberra, Sunshine Coast, Newcastle, Adelaide and New Zealand, and in total, 84 parkrunners doing our course for the first time! Thanks for visiting us and we hope you have a great run in your events tomorrow.
Congrats to Grace who completed her 50th parkrun, to the five people who completed their first ever parkrun, and to the fella who got a parkrun in on the morning of his wedding day 🫡 💒.

This week 278 people ran, jogged and walked the course and 28 recorded new Personal Bests.

Particular thanks to our 15 volunteers who made the event possible:

Paul • Catherine • Caroline • Cheryl • Alana • Michael • Kathryn • Matt • Dave • Theresa • Ned • Xavier • John • Oliver • Rebecca

Special thanks to Xavier who jumped in after his run to scan barcodes when it got very busy.

Remember its pacer week next week with Coburg Harriers headlining our event - see you then!
