Did you know that Kaarta Koomba (Kings Park) in Perth is one of the largest inner-city parks in the world? 🌿

It’s also a deeply significant Cultural site for Whadjuk Noongar people.

There’s no better way to experience it than walking on Country with Uncle Steven from

Thank you Unk for such a powerful experience while we were in Perth for the Australian Tourism Awards — learning about the medicines, plants, history, and the deep stories of Kaarta Koomba. We all got so much from the walk.

If you’re in Perth, we highly recommend spending time on Country with Uncle Steven.

Monaroo Bobberrer Gudu Keeping Place – Temporary Closure for Major Renovations

The Monaroo Bobberrer Gudu Keeping Place is officially closing its doors as we begin an exciting new chapter — major renovations are underway.

We will reopen towards the end of June 2026.

This is a historic moment for the Keeping Place, for Jigamy, and for our wider community. The Keeping Place has long been a space of cultural preservation, storytelling, gathering and strength — and we are now preparing it for the future.

During renovations, if you need to see us in person, you can find our shop at:

Angela’s Arcade
Shop 2 / 203 Imlay Street
Eden NSW

You can also stay in touch via phone:
CEO Dean Muscat – 0404 299 696
COO Miriam Wolstencroft – 0478 318 125

Over the coming months, we’ll be sharing the story of the Keeping Place — its powerful history, past events, and what’s ahead as we reimagine the space for future generations.

Thank you for your patience and continued support as we step into this next chapter.
