For 21 years, we've walked for Daniel on the Sunshine Coast, joined by thousands of locals and supporters from further afield. Now the walk is going national, thanks to parkrun Australia.

On Saturday 31 October, 550 parkrun events across the country are invited to take part in parkwalk for Daniel. Wherever you live, wear red and walk for child safety.

We were lucky with the weather this morning, the rain held off until nearly the end, which was appreciated by the 145 runners, joggers and walkers. There were 15 first timers and congratulations to the 26 who achieved a personnel best.
