This weekend Bribie Scouts attended D’aguilar Range District Paddling camp.
Held annually in Neurum, our scouts went on 2 paddle journeys, participated in canoe games, camped and hung out with other scout groups.
This was a makeup camp as last Nov it was cancelled due to weather.

Scouts from across the D’Aguilar Range District took on a 16.4 km return paddle up beautiful Elimbah Creek this weekend!

Only Scouts with Level 3+ paddling skills were invited to join this challenging and rewarding adventure — and they smashed it! 💪

A huge thank you to Busy Fingers for their generous donation of canoes and a trailer to Bribie Scouts. Having this new equipment means our Scouts can explore further, develop their skills, and experience even more of the great outdoors. 🛶🌞

A patrol of Scouts accompanied Eva on her Adventurous Journey. Eva planned and led the 34km - 3 day 2 night hike - through the Noosa Hinterland.

An adventurous journey takes months of meticulous planning, mapping and coordination with a Guide to ensure a safe journey.

Woodford Qld Scouts and Bribie Scouts joined up this weekend for a combined camp at Bribie.
Bushwalking, fishing and Pioneering.
Pioneering is using poles, lashings, ropes and pulleys.
They built a patrol tent, dining fly and this awesome bridge.

Bribie Island Scout Group would like to thank the "Gambling Community Benefits Fund" for providing the funding to refurbish our Groups Den and Kitchen area. This refurbishment has greatly improved our Street Appeal and improved the appearance and safety in our Kitchen and Den by utilising Epoxy Flooring and repainting of both buildings.
