Another fantastic Community Market last Saturday. Thank you to all those generous people who supported the Sausage Sizzle for the Beverley Horse and Pony Club and the Raffle for the CWA. Congratulations to Cecily who won the CWA raffle prize which was supplied by Pat and Jenny from Jenny’s Jams and Preserves. (Please contact Pat to pick up your hamper).

Special thanks to Farm who provided the eggs for the sausage sizzle, Trading for the great price on our new BBQ and Beverley for regularly donating chopped onions. Our regular helpers and volunteers Tim and Kerrie are much appreciated. Thanks to Isobel, Kaye, and the Primroses for their lovely singing. Thanks also to our regular organisers and legends Jenny, Daryl, Lee, Lilo and Peter. They are much appreciated as are all our brilliant community stall holders.

We were lucky to have the artist in residence at Station Arts, Paula, with us and we hope you caught her painting away over the weekend. A special shout out to of Avon Radio - Rhonda, Haydn and George who broadcast live from the markets. Congrats to our junior stall holders who did really well and learned a lot about economics, marketing, customer service and security.

The free Kids Zone has been a hit and enormous thanks to the wonderful Charlotte who ran craft activities with our young visitors. All of the toys, crafts and dolls house etc have been donated by local people and supporters of the markets. Thank you.

Looking forward to next month where the raffle will be run by the Beverley HS Cadets and we hope you support them in their fund raising. We have proudly helped raise more than $3000 for multiple organisations so far this year including the following:

This weekend is going to be a special one at the Community Markets. Avon Radio will be broadcasting live! Our raffle will be supporting the CWA and don’t forget to grab a sausage sizzle with proceeds to the Beverley Horse and Pony Club. All our regular stalls and a few new ones. See you there!

If you are interested in getting involved with the community and supporting our markets, we are looking for a part time coordinator to assist with administration and on the ground support on market day. Looking forward to a fantastic one this month. The Beverley Market, which opens formally on 2nd July, combines with all our regular casual stallholders and some new ones! See you all there on Saturday 4th July!

A great day yesterday at the Beverley Community Markets. Thank you to our long term supporters Avon Trading, Beverley Hotel and many more!

The raffle winner was Cam Watts 🎉. Grand total of $236 was raised for St John Ambulance - Beverley.

One of the most brilliant sausage sizzles was run by the Beverley Horse and Pony Club raising an incredible $370.

It was joyful to see all the chilly people enjoying their Hillz Soft Serve 🥶

Look out for July when our next Community market will run on Saturday 4th.
