Thank you to everyone who came along to support the Little Sisters of Hoboken in their fund-raising activities - they finally got to bury the last four dead sisters, and avoided a hefty fine from the Health Inspector... all thanks to Sister Mary Paul who is now enjoying her new name and telling anyone who will listen!

Such an amazing bunch of people that came together, we absolutely loved this silly little play and we know you all did too ❀️

We are always looking for new members to join our group, so if you're feeling inspired, it is time to pop your hand up! βœ‹οΈ

Have you heard the rumours..? Because they're all true!

Words like "Awesome Production", "Boy it was good!", "Very entertaining" and "Definitley a must to see!" are being thrown around about our current production of Nunsense! πŸ₯ΉπŸ₯ΉπŸ₯Ή

Being this year was such a small cast and crew, we are overwhelmed with how well this show has been received πŸ’–

𝐂𝐀𝐍 𝐖𝐄 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 π“π€πŠπ„ 𝐀 πŒπŽπŒπ„ππ“ π…πŽπ‘ π“π‡πˆπ’ π€πŒπ€π™πˆππ† 𝐒𝐄𝐓

This set (and production) wouldn’t be anywhere near as incredible as it is without one very special lady who means so much to our group. A huge shout‑out to Jo Sims! Her eye for detail, creativity, and ability to pull everything together is truly something to be admired.

Somehow, during the rehearsal period, Jo managed to be our director and rehearsal prompt, resident "Queen of Temu" (making, ordering, and enhancing costumes, props, and set pieces), set coordinator and dresser, and an on‑stage fill‑in whenever needed.. AND on performance nights, she is our stage hand while performing as Sister Rose in the chorus at the same time.

How she fits it all into her brain, and around her many other out‑of‑theatre commitments, we’ll never know.. but we are endlessly grateful for everything she does!

And no dynamic duo is complete without her offsider, her amazing husband Darryl, the manual labour behind so many of Jo’s creative ideas. What an awesome team you are, and how lucky we are to have you both ❀️

Thank you for the time, effort, and support you put in behind the scenes, and to everyone else who supported Jo in any way to bring the performance to life!

We have had amazing feedback on our shows so far - thank you to each and everyone for coming along to our show over the first weekend ❀️ we are so glad you have enjoyed it as much as we have enjoyed putting it on!

Sister Mary Leo - Kat Davis

Kat Davis was once again recruited to BAD for a simple ensemble role in the musical. However, through a clever ploy by director Jo Sims and her sidekick Britt, she was coaxed into the role of novice nun, Sister Mary Leo.

She has enjoyed watching everyone develop their nuns and bring the story to life. The play is so funny and the cast brings so much energy and joy to every rehearsal!
