We need a few more for Bormsa
Please if you Can spare some Time to do the course it will keep BORMSA going when we are short on committee members.
Also we are looking to do a get together so others can learn the timing system in the office.
This is just for backup if we need assistance on the day.
Arlene is quite happy still to run the office on event days.
However due to recent events we require others to learn as well as committee members.
It’s very simple, people would be called upon in the event if officials need to head to the toilet mainly Or if one of the committee are unable to assist on the day.
As most know it’s rare that this occurs however we do need a backup plan, due to committee members working overseas at times and may not be able to assist on the day.
Drivers please put your hands up to learn how the timing gear works it is simple.
Would take a couple of hours one night to get together to show you how it works.
The book is easy to follow ,What Arlene knows will be added to the book as it’s easy enough to learn in a few steps.
Please if we can get at least ten drivers & members to share the knowledge of the timing gear and the timing on the day we would be greatly grateful.
For those of you who want to up-skill as an official or try something new, Motorsport Australia have some training courses coming up.
