Matter for Cause π
Thanks again to Beck Legal for this wonderful initiative towards the upgrade of the Palliative Care / Hospice Unit in Mercy Street.
Our President Valerie, Treasurer Judy and myself met with Beck Legal staff and other Bendigo Health representative for a morning tea last Thursday.
It was a very informative morning with speakers from different areas of Bendigo Health speaking about Palliative Care, the upgrade of the Unit in Mercy St and the Volunteer services and why this is so important to our community.
If your considering getting a Will made or need to change a current one you have in place , please consider the wonderful team at Beck Legal π
An essential part of becoming an adult is getting your personal affairs in order. Setting good habits early puts you on the right path to confidently manage your responsibilities and the assets youβll build throughout life.
β
Start with Powers of Attorney (medical and financial)
A Power of Attorney (POA) allows you to appoint a trusted person to make decisions on your behalf if youβre unable to do so due to illness, injury, or incapacity. It ensures your affairs are managed by someone you choose, not a government body. An essential step especially if you intend on travelling.
β
Make a Will
If youβve bought your first car, you already own an asset. Without a Will, state laws decide who inherits your assets often creating unnecessary complexity for your family during an already stressful time.
For a small investment, you can start adulthood organised, protected, and supported while giving back to your local community through Matter for a Cause.
