Congratulations The Business Centre on the launch of the Service NSW Business Bureau’s new Small Business Advisory Program. Small Business owner/operators can get up to 4 hours of free support from our expert advisors, who understand what it takes to run a small business. Businesses can also access online resources, events, and networking opportunities to grow their skills. Small Business Commissioner, Kalina Koloff launched the program today at Newcastle Race Course, along with Julianne Christopher, General Manager of The Business Centre. The Advisory team includes a sum of experience in years approaching a century of knowledge to impart. Lake Macquarie Business is proud to announce our lead speaker at the Business to Business Expo. Its all happening at Club Macquarie on Wednesday 21st October from 7.30 am and you are invited.

Ryan will be addressing our gathering at 8 am. His topic is a specific Lake Macquarie economic update along with other world impacts.

Ryan Felsman is Senior Economist (Director) – Business & Industry at Commonwealth Bank. In his role, Ryan is responsible for the analysis of economic trends and developments in the Australian economy, as well as the likely impact on industry, business and financial markets.

He writes regular commentaries and presents to clients and customers across the CBA Group. He has appeared regularly on Sky News, Channel 7’s Sunrise, SBS World News and ABC News Radio as part of his media commitments. Ryan has also co-anchored the CommSec Market Update podcast each morning.

Ryan has been with the CBA Group for 15 years and has more than 25 years’ funds management experience, having previously worked as Chief Economist at CommSec, Investment Manager Global Resources and Senior Economist - both at Colonial First State Global Asset Management.

Ryan holds a Master of Commerce (Economics, Government & Business majors) from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics major) from Macquarie University, Sydney.

Given ongoing volatility across domestic and global markets, Ryan Felsman will deliver an economic update, including the key themes impacting foreign exchange, interest rates, inflation and the global geopolitical environment.
