The Fools Fest organised by the ACT Vets was, as always awesome. Welcome to the newly formed Spartans team. Made up of Military Veterans, they were great on the field and even better off. Their sponsors VETCOMP brought water for everyone. Apparently it comes from the bowels of a volcano and we lava’d it. For those who know golden oldies rugby and the steep history Bathurst has in both seniors and oldies, it sad to announce the parting of one the greats who helped establish Golden Oldies Rugby in Bathurst as well as his commitment to grade rugby in the city.

Farewell Robert "Hoddo" Hodgson.

He, like all of us couldn't tackle, run or pass but loved to have a beer with his mates after the game telling the story of how good he was on the field🤣🤣🤣.

The legend will live on!

About $1200 for local Mental Health.
We thank you for your generosity, the great spirit you all played the game in and the friendship you showed each other.

Well we are right on the doorstep! Just 1 sleep to go. So if your are thinking about it, roll the dice and get here for the most enjoyable weekend you will have in Rugby. Have a cold drink proudly supplied by our sponsors LARKINS and a meat pie and enjoy them with a run around the field.

Bathurst Rugby FEST.

The weekend in brief:
Friday Night at the Tatts.
Team meet and greet.
Bathurst Tattersall Hotel.
35 Keppel St.
Bistro opens 6pm
Live music from 8pm

Saturday
Let the games begin.
9:30 am at Bathurst Rugby club.
69 Hereford Street, Bathurst.
The draw will be finalised on the day.
10 am the reading of the rules.
Group photo and team photos.
10:30 am games begin.
20 minutes per game round Robin.
12 pm The Bryson Anderson cup.
2:20 pm the last game.
All abilities versus old boys barbarians.
3 pm Team presentations.
Drinks at the clubhouse and the
Bledisloe cup.
6 pm let the party begin back at the Tatts hotel.
7 pm The presentation of the Bathurst shield, the
Bryson Anderson cup, and the
Wallopers stick.
8 pm live music and dance.
Party till late.
