Ballarat East Neighbourhood House is located within Barkly Square at 25-39 Barkly Street, Ballarat. We are open 9.00 am - 5.00 pm during school term.

Our purpose is to advance social and public welfare by advancing mental health and preventing social isolation and providing a physical location where we support individuals to undertake activities, or work on projects, in the company of others. We also deliver a range of regular activities at the Eureka Hall on Stawell Street South, Ballarat East, including Tai Chi and Drawing Group. Before visiting, we recommend making an appointment by phone or email.

Ballarat East Neighbourhood House has introduced 'dynamic pricing'.

That means if you decide to join Tai Chi or Feldenkrais later in the term, but want to make use of the discounted term bundle pricing, you still can!

Casual sessions remain $20, however a full term will only cost $15 a session, and $17 a session for a term bundle after week 2!

Are you concerned about the state of our Climate?

At our Climate Café there is no guest speaker, no advice given, no call for action. Instead, you’ll find a supportive, facilitated conversational space for people to gather and share thoughts and feelings in response to the climate crisis. Here you can voice concerns that may not be welcomed or echoed elsewhere in your daily life. You’re invited to share with interested others how you’re really feeling at this challenging time.

There may be laughter, there may be tears. There may be fear, there may be anger. Whatever you’re feeling is okay and valued. And it’s fine just to listen. Sharing, listening and being quiet together are all part of our Café.

If you have some spare yarn lying around that isn't going to get used, consider donating it to Winter Woollies For Ballarat.

Meeting every Wednesday at 1pm here at Ballarat East Neighbourhood House, they create wonderful blankets, clothing and toys to donate locally around Ballarat. Feel free to come in and have a chat while you create your next masterpiece.

This is a fully accredited HLTAID011 course, only catered towards the crash scenarios and incidents we may come across while out riding. If you've ever wondered how to help your mates when they come off their bike, this is the course for you.
