BALP is both a team and personal development program designed specifically for our chosen organisational groups by AFL Legend and Leadership Guru, Paul Roos and his team at Performance By Design. Congratulations to all our winners at our recent BLAKE’S ARMY CHARITY GOLF DAY 2026! 🏆

What an incredible day of golf, community and generosity at Midlands Golf Club Incorporated last week. We’re thrilled to celebrate the teams who finished on the podium and walked away with some fantastic prizes.

🥇 1st Place – Blue Financial
Chris Emmerson, Jarrod Boyd, Anthony Costigan and Matthew Kay (a lucky late inclusion!) took out the top spot on the day.

Their prize - An unforgettable adventure for four in Levi, 🇫🇮 Finland with Olympic aerial skiing champion Lydia Lassila OAM. The experience includes 7 days at Scandi House Levi, two days skiing with Lydia, a Northern Lights tour, husky sledding and a skidoo adventure through the Arctic wilderness. An extraordinary trip and a well-earned victory!

🥈 2nd Place – Tuff Group
Scott Cummings, Stuart Drury, Myles Neville and Tanya Hall.

🥉 3rd Place – Steamatic Australia
David Vivian, Cal Broad, Joe McLean and Leigh Ellis.

Both second and third place teams received Blake’s Army eskys for each player, stamped with their finishing position and filled with a six pack of beer, two bottles of wine, Blake’s Army caps, stubby holders and a key ring, valued at around $200 each.

At our recent golf day, Jeromy Jones and the team at Bar Fridges Australia generously donated two premium bar fridges, helping add to the excitement of the day and contributing to the success of the event. Their support did not go unnoticed and we are incredibly grateful.

What a day. What a community. What a turnout.

Our first inaugural BLAKE’S ARMY CHARITY GOLF DAY was nothing short of extraordinary.

Seeing teams, sponsors, volunteers and supporters come together at Golf Club was incredibly special, and a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community rallies behind a cause.

The energy across the course was outstanding. Laughter, connection, generosity and genuine support for Blake’s Army filled the day.

There are so many people to thank...our teams, our sponsors, our sporting legends, our volunteers, and every single person who played a part in making the day such a success. We truly couldn’t have done it without you.

This post is just the beginning.

Over the coming days, we’ll be sharing more highlights, acknowledgements and the special moments that made the day so memorable.

We’ll be shining a spotlight on our incredible sponsors and partners, recognising the businesses and individuals who stepped forward to support our mission, and celebrating the community spirit that defined the day.

We’ll also be announcing our competition winners, sharing team successes, and revealing some of the fantastic results from across the course. There were some brilliant performances and plenty of friendly rivalry, and we can’t wait to celebrate those with you all.

We are excited to share that live entertainment at our BLAKE’S ARMY CHARITY GOLF DAY 2026 will be provided by the incredibly talented Holly Golz. 💚

Holly is a versatile singer who performs across multiple genres, with a strong focus on country and rock. She brings great music, great energy and powerful storytelling through song, carefully creating a setlist that genuinely connects with the crowd.
