Bairnsdale Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Bairnsdale is the thriving commercial centre of East Gippsland. Situated on the banks of the Mitchell river, 285km east of Melbourne.

The Bairnsdale Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) is a not-for-profit business organisation. BCCI liaises with local, state and federal governments on behalf of the Bairnsdale and district business community, and has representation at Business & Tourism East Gippsland (BTEG) association meetings, providing feedback on behalf of Chamber members. BCCI is the local representative body for busine

sses to have their say on the future direction of business in Bairnsdale. The Strategic Aims and Objectives of the Chamber are to:
Provide strong representation and advocacy on behalf of members
Promote Bairnsdale as a town and the businesses that are vital to the community
Facilitate business improvement strategies for the local business community
Create and encourage business networking opportunities
Develop membership and structure. Living and Working in Bairnsdale:
Businesses start here because they want to surround themselves with successful entrepreneurs and employees with a “no problem” work ethic. Businesses grow here because they participate in our active Chamber of Commerce, town activities, town planning, and tourist attractions. Businesses relocate here because they want to be part of a balanced community with a quality of life that attracts and retains a committed workforce. Businesses thrive here when they participate in the community.

WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! What an AWESOME day!!!

Some of us are still so excited we are still dancing in circles.... some of us are still washing the colour off....and all of us can't get the (exhausted) silly grins off our faces.

All because of the inaugural Holi Festival of Colour that brought an unmatched level of culture; colour and community to Nicholson Mall on Saturday

We were so excited to be a part of the day and to see all the smiles (and colour) on everyone's faces....but such an event would never have happened if it wasn't for an abundance of amazing people and community....

Indian Holi Colour Festival
- family entertainment, stalls, food and colour fun.

If you are interested in having at stall at the festival please message us and we can work on getting it all sorted.
We are only having stalls in the Mall itself so unfortunately no food vans will be able to be accommodated....BUT there are no site fees so if you are free .... come on down and showcase your wares.
