Ambulance opshop
The Bairnsdale Ambulance Auxiliary opshop started in 1956 and was set up to raise money for the Ambulance Station and for new equipment for the ambulances. We are the only Ambulance Auxiliary that own it’s own station. The new station was built in 2006 and now the auxiliary is looking into getting a larger premises or to get a satellite station to enhance and reduce the attendance times in the area.
The auxiliary have purchased new equipment to equip the Ambulance Officers in their work on patients in our area. The auxiliary have assisted all the stations in the East Gippsland area with essential equipment and will continue to do so.
Our Aim is to equip the Ambulance members with the most uptodate equipment to get the best service to patients in the area.
