Last month, 150 people in Brisbane gathered to support Dorcas ACTS, raising $7,000+ for those in crisis.

The Walk in the Spirit 2026 event is a nationwide charity initiative centred on a flagship 11 km walk around Uluru on Monday, 5 October 2026. The Event is organised by Dorcas ACTS crisis charity and will be a recurring annual/biennial event.

Last month we saw it firsthand.

At our Walk In The Spirit book launch and Uluru Walk promotion lunch, 150 people gathered in Brisbane to support Dorcas ACTS, raising over $7,000 to help people facing crisis across Australia.

But this is just the beginning.

On 5 October 2026, we will walk around Uluru at sunrise, an 11km journey symbolising something bigger than ourselves. At the same time, local walks are already forming across Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, and the Tweed Valley, with more to come.

This is your invitation to be part of something meaningful.
