The challenge begins... 😄

Today’s push‑up target is 100, inspired by research showing that as little as 10 minutes sitting or walking in green spaces can boost mental wellbeing.

Science keeps backing what many of us already know. Time in nature supports mental health by reducing stress and anxiety, while also lifting feelings of calm, energy and positivity. Even short bursts outdoors can help the nervous system switch out of high alert mode. Stepping outside can ease tension, soften angry or anxious feelings, and help people feel more refreshed and relaxed.

Small moments. Real impact. Your mental wellbeing will thank you.

We hope you have been doing many push-ups (like our youth access worker below) or alternative exercises today, let's keep pushing together for better mental health.

Thank you to all the legends that have donated!

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

This year's theme, All In, is a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day. All In makes clear that reconciliation is not a spectator sport – it calls on everyone to step away from the sidelines and take responsibility for meaningful action.

At headspace Armadale, we are committed to reconciliation through showing respect for Country, listening to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people, and creating services that are culturally safe, welcoming and responsive.
