Wrap With Love Inc 'Cold humanity is our concern, people caring about other people.'

There are millions of people in the world suffering extreme cold.

‘Cold humanity is our concern, people caring about other people.’ In 1992 Wrap with Love began with the idea to help as many people as possible by providing warm Wraps to ward off hypothermia. In 1992 Wrap with Love began with the idea to help as many people as possible by providing warm Wraps to ward off hypothermia and in the past 20 years we have sent more than 323,000 Wraps to people in over

75 countries, including Australia, with the help of our hardworking and generous volunteers. Most of us can knit and sew. Just one square provides one twenty-eighth of warmth, and collectively, twenty-eight assembled squares create one whole warm and sheltering Wrap.

Lots of volunteers on deck today with 183 wraps and 250 squares coming in by post, road and some personally delivered from such places as Wentworth Anglican Church, Burwood Library and Church in the Market to name but a few. We also had a coffin cardboard box (literally) packed full of wraps from Invocare ACT - see photo! We have packed wraps for the charity ReLove and have more ready to go to a high school. A request came in late in the day from The Australian Federation of Northern Lebanon for as many as a thousand wraps for Lebanon.
