Albury Wodonga Prayer Breakfast

Albury Wodonga Prayer Breakfast The Albury Wodonga Prayer breakfast is for Christians of all denominations to come together as one.

11/03/2026

Our special guest speaker for the September 2026 Prayer Breakfast, as previously announced, is an incredible man of God, Lyle Shelton.

As this page is for those who believe in the power of united prayer and the blessing, power and authority of Almighty God, we invite you to join us — and the extended prayer army — in praying for Lyle Shelton.

Our guest speaker from last year, Dave Pellowe, often reminds us how important it is that believers stand together in prayer.

Let us pray and believe for breakthrough, wisdom and protection as Lyle prepares to share.

“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” — Matthew 18:19

🙏🏼Comfort Comfort.

Lord Jesus, Your beloved people are so strong and courageous because you are their God. You live and reign in their hearts.

We pray peace, an out pouring of love, healing and prayers over all that has happened, and every person affected.

God, you bring your light and love even in the darkest of places.

May the darkness be exposed and Jesus, the Hope of the world be exalted.
✨🙏🏼🤍 Amen

Prayer moves mountains ✨
and activates God, and his people.

I’m reminded of a time in history when King George VI during World War II in 1940 asked the country to PRAY.

Hundreds of thousands of British troops were backed up to the sea, with enemy troops approaching, and it wasn’t looking hopeful.
The result was nothing short of a string of God’s miraculous miracles.

Be encouraged.

“King George VI famously called for a "National Day of Prayer" on May 24, 1940, during a dire period of World War II when British forces were trapped at Dunkirk. This unprecedented call to a united, fervent national prayer was met by millions of people flocking to churches, and is often linked to the successful evacuation of over 300,000 soldiers, an event many refer to as the "Miracle of Dunkirk".

The Nation Responds
Mass Participation:
Millions of people across the country, and the wider Commonwealth, dedicated themselves to national prayer in churches and cathedrals.

Public Gathering: A famous photograph captured a queue a quarter of a mile long outside Westminster Abbey as people sought to join the service.

The "Miracle of Dunkirk": The successful evacuation of 335,000 Allied soldiers from the beaches of Dunkirk is widely attributed to a combination of efforts, including many small boats and a perceived series of miracles that allowed the rescue to happen against all human odds.

Today, we have a ‘Call to Prayer’.
God is moving on the earth.
These are the days foretold.

It looks a little different because we can gather a multitude even those in isolated places, but be united all the same.
When: October 7th @ 6pm.

Let’s throw off opinions and humbly and powerfully unite in prayer.

Please join us.

We are deeply saddened at the vile attack and subsequent death of much loved hero of the faith, defender of the Gospel & truth, Charlie Kirk.

One of his finals words were…

“We are taking this country back everybody”

Crowd cheers.

Now we know it was never just up-to him.

But all of us who are defenders of the gospel and truth.

God will use this.

What the enemy planned for evil, God almighty will use this for good.
We believe it.

RIP Charlie, you ran your race with passion, love, authority & wisdom, and you won.
We will be praying for your beautiful family.
Gods got them, you know that.
Mrserikakirk 🤍🙏🏼✨

Genesis 50:20-21
You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.

Simone & Andy Worsnop were our beautiful Worshippers at this year’s Prayer Breakfast, singing ‘Cornerstone’ & ‘It is well with my soul’.

Their love for worshipping is so evident in their day to day lives, and when asked to serve, didn’t hesitate to say yes.

What an incredible faith community we have on the Border.

So many churches doing well to love and serve one another, our community, and beyond.

As we work together to share the good news of Jesus, may we not grow weary in doing good. 🙏

Galations 6:9-10
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
