🙏🏼 Just 4 more sleeps until this year’s Albury Wodonga Prayer Breakfast 2026!

We are delighted to have our special guest speaker, Mr Lyle Shelton, joining us.

We have booked the SS&A’s largest auditorium, with record numbers booked in!
This is wonderful news, as it means everyone will be seated together in the main room.

A few important details for the morning:

📍 Please park at the rear of the club and enter through the rear entrance. There is plenty of on-site parking available.

Numbers have now been given to the club for catering purposes, so there are just a few spots remaining.

⏰ on Wednesday 9th September-Please arrive between 6:30–6:45am for a prompt 7:00am start.

The morning will conclude at 8:30am sharp, allowing those who need to get to work to do so.

You are very welcome to stay longer and enjoy tea and coffee together after the formal gathering has concluded.

We look forward to gathering together in unity to pray for our community, our region and our nation, and we pray for an encouraging morning with a rhema word for us all. ✨

It’s only 10 days away till we gather for this years 2026 ‘Albury Wodonga Prayer Breakfast’.

Good morning to our brothers and sisters in faith,

The world is changing at a rapid pace.

Can you sense the changing times?
Can you see what is happening around us?

Can you feel the Holy Spirit calling us to step up—to seek God with greater urgency, through fervent prayer and fasting?

We must gather.
We must unite.
We must pray.

There’s no other way to say it.

The Church—not one denomination, but God’s people—must come together in unity.

We unite around the truth we share:

Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Saviour of the world.

✨Already, we have more people booked for this year’s event than at this point in any previous year.

But even if we sell out, it’s still not the gathering I see.

I see a multitude gathering.

I believe this can—and should—become the biggest gathering of Christians in our community.

Do you see it too?

Then come.

Gather your church.
Gather your family.
Gather your friends.

And if we fill the room, we’ll make more room.

Throughout the morning, individuals representing different churches and denominations, who have been pre-selected because of their profession or area of influence, will lead us in prayer.

This is not about one church or one denomination.

It is about the Church—God’s people—coming together as one, united in our faith in Jesus Christ and praying for our community, our nation and the generations to come.

We invite you, and your faith community, to attend this years 2026 ‘Albury Wodonga Prayer Breakfast’.

Our special Quest speaker for the morning is Mr Lyle Shelton.

For two decades Lyle has been a tireless advocate for faith, life, family and freedom. Lyle’s previous roles include serving as Managing Director of the Australian Christian Lobby, and Director of the Coalition for Marriage, leading the No campaign during the 2017 same-sex marriage postal survey. He has written for The Australian, The Courier Mail, ABC online, The Spectator and is a prominent Christian commentator in the media. Lyle’s new book, 'Turn the Tide, a Letter to the Antipodean Church', will be released in June this year and aims to challenge Christians to rethink the Church’s role in society.

If you believe in the power of prayer, that we need to stand up and protect our children, and that children should be children and not exposed to this sexualisation, then you are a warrior for righteousness and the prayers of the faithful, avail much. Amen

➡️➡️➡️Why attend the Albury Wodonga Prayer Breakfast?

Because pray we must.

We need God, to make a way and help us fulfil the Great Commision on the earth.

The principalities & powers at bay are there, we must rise up and be the Ambassadors we are called to be.

In the Bible, being an Ambassador refers to an official representative of God's Kingdom on earth.

The primary text is found in 2 Corinthians 5:20, where the Apostle Paul states…
“We are therefore Christ's Ambassador, as though God were making his appeal through us."

You are a living representation of your Heavenly Father, carrying the authority and values of heaven, on earth.

Believers do not just deliver the Gospel message, they are called to embody it in relationships and conduct.

It requires speaking truth with love.
An ambassador is to represent the Kingdom of God. It isn’t a part-time calling. It’s a lifestyle.

If we’re honest, the central prayer of “your kingdom come, your will be done”, is, and should be central to all we do.

This is why Christ said that to be his disciples, we must die to ourselves.
No one can serve two masters.
