Our cat rescue is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic volunteer who is passionate about helping cats and interested in fundraising! ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿฑ

We desperately need to raise much-needed funds to continue caring for the cats and kittens who rely on us. From organising fundraising events and raffles to coming up with creative ideas and seeking donations, your help could make a real difference.

If youโ€™re motivated, have some great ideas, enjoy meeting people, and would love to use your skills to help save and improve the lives of vulnerable cats, we would LOVE to hear from you! ๐Ÿพโค๏ธ

His name is Bingo - heโ€™s desexed and microchipped to his owner but unfortunately, he has not received the love and care that he should have been receiving after being injured.

๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ขBingo went missing for a couple of weeks and during that time he became injured?? The pain his has endured is unspeakable, could you imagine ๐Ÿ’” if you couldn't walk on your two back legs? dragging your whole body weight around on the harsh roads ? Just to survive? With his two back legs extended straight out. It would be unbearable, heโ€™s incontinent as a result of the injury. Without any cleaning his bottom is badly infected to the point of ulceration and his balls have open flesh wounds from dragging himself along the ground/toileting ๐Ÿ˜ฟ๐Ÿ’”

Vet visit๐Ÿค’
Bingo has now been xrayed - shaved bottom and cleaned up his wounds and will be wearing a nappy for the coming weeks to try and keep the his open wounds dry and clean.

Results of his X-rays,
The X-rays showed there isnโ€™t a complete fracture, there appears to be compression and a narrowing of the spine - a thoracic spinal injury is suspected.

Ct scan is today Wednesday 2nd.
๐Ÿ’” CT scan now sadley moved till Wednesday, Being young, with physio to build muscle strength he could regain some use of his back legs and pending the prognosis of his Ct scan, we are hoping for Bingo sake he could be a candidate for some form of repairing surgery.

๐Ÿ‘€ Total cost so far,
The costs have fast risen to $590 with transport costs and X-rays - sedation- pain relief- antibiotics - wound cleaning and antibiotic cream. ๐—–๐—ง ๐˜€๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜€ ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜๐—ถ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—ฒ๐˜…๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€ ๐—ผ๐—ณ $๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ

๐Ÿ˜ฟ๐Ÿ™€HEARTBREAKING NEGLECT
Sadly, this was preventable and treatable much sooner - heโ€™s a victim of neglect, a victim ๐Ÿ˜ข of and suffering at the hand of those he should be able to trust.

๐ŸฅฐHeโ€™s such a sweet boy and oh so grateful to now be resting much more comfortably with pain relief and a clean treated.

Itโ€™s very challenging - traumatising and physically and mentally depleting - if our community can do their part to ease the financial burden it places us under constantly, that would be so very appreciated.

Update: the kitten has seen a vet and this is what they have said, The vets only said could be Neurological and to monitor him. Which is not a whole lot to go on. Yet tanayah has contacted the reseuce there and some others yet , no one has come back to her yet.

We will call the vets tomorrow to try and get a clearer understanding and what we can do moving forward.

๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ IM CRYING MY HEART OUT AS MY HEART ACHES. WE RECEIVED A CALL FOR HELP FROM A COMMUNITY MEMBER IN PORT PIRIE, BROKE MY HEART WATCHING IT.

Member of the community saved two abandoned kittens 3 weeks ago, needed help with litter and food, which we donated. Today we received this message.

"I need your help, he cant stand up, he is bloated and drinking huge amounts of water, Im afraid heโ€™s dying ๐Ÿ˜ข please help!"

โ€œI dont drive, i dont have the money to take them to the vets, I have no family here, no one has called me back with help.โ€

๐Ÿ’”We have arranged to pay for the veterinary care to see if this little soul can be saved out of our own money, we couldnt just ignore them and say sorry we cant help.

๐Ÿ˜ฟThis is just one of many of calls for help we receive multiple times a day.

๐ŸซขRemember the little baby found at the truck stop? Will this is him now, cleaned, fed and very loved, nearly 1kg and being loved by his foster carers.

Mack has a pre - adoption meet and greet also. He has thrived since being taking into care ๐Ÿฉท if he wasnt rescued at 4 weeks old he would not have survived on the streets , he would have just been another lost soul, starving to death with no one around to care ๐Ÿฅถ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Got her!! This is the pretty girl seen on our reel being loved by me (Lisa). Now safe in her care after building enough trust over months to finally pick her up. Booked in for Desexing next week we have a person interested in adopting her whom we re currently reaching out to. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿปโค๏ธ
