Meet John, a dedicated individual serving his community and making a positive difference in his community.

Former Army Reservist, John is a long-time community volunteer, Belrose RSL member and creator of the 'Australia My Country' competition. His commitment to service recently earned him the honour of the Northern Beaches 2026 Senior Citizen of the Year.
However, back and mobility challenges made it difficult to maintain his busy and active lifestyle, making simple housework and everyday tasks increasingly difficult to complete. That's when Care Connect stepped in.

The assistance has enabled him to continue living safely at home and provides reassurance that support is never far away. This allows John to continue serving his community and do what brings him joy. "Having everything on call if I need it and being able to talk to someone and get assistance."

Connection is at the heart of everything we do.
It was a pleasure to partner with Monash Council to host Morning Melodies and help close out this year's Seniors Festival. Seeing so many people come together to connect, celebrate and enjoy each other's company was a wonderful reminder of why community matters.

At Care Connect, we know that staying socially connected is an important part of ageing well. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
