A record number of 13 performances this year! Its a huge effort from the whole community. Rehearsals, dance teachers, private tutoring, costume making, choir, leading the box and a tireless effort of our choir leader.

This year saw 16 dancers who had never danced before and this was their first time. And 15 who dusted off their mats and skirts to reconnect.

What a fantastic night celebrating Kiribati 47th Independence! We are still feeling the buzz from partying all night!

We had community members travel from regional Vic, Brisbane and Adelaide to come party with us.

Huge thankyou to all the dancers and singers who dedicated hours (and weekends!) to rehearsing for the night. We had a record breaking 13 performances!

The Victorian Kiribati Association would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who has purchased tickets and shown support for this year's celebrations. We are thrilled to announce that our event is now officially SOLD OUT!!

We acknowledge that such event is never about numbers but about community ,culture and tradition, therefore we truly are grateful for the continued support and love everyone has shown VKA.
2027 will be a venue bigger and one we hope we can accommodate for all to attend 🇰🇮💕
