The second and final day of the 2026 Global Forum could not have gone better!

From AI and biometrics to the financial feasibility of in-cabin wheelchair securement and airline innovations, Day Two gave us a realistic and exciting look at the future of accessible air travel.

The Global Forum brings together people from different backgrounds, industries, and lived experiences to share perspectives, explore solutions, and move accessible air travel forward.

We’re incredibly proud of how we wrapped up our 2026 Global Forum and even more excited for what’s ahead! Thank you for everyone who spoke on day 2!

Yesterday marked Day One of our 2026 Global Forum, and what an incredible day it was!

We heard from amazing speakers from around the world on international policies, FAA updates, lived experiences, airport accessibility, innovative designs, research, and more.

Days like this give us so much hope for the future. Bringing together so many voices, experiences, and great minds is essential to moving our mission forward.

While we can’t give a definitive date for when passengers will be able to remain in their wheelchairs on commercial airplanes, gatherings like this give us confidence that day is coming, and we hope it’s sooner rather than later.
